One of the reasons I initially wanted to mod the car was to get ass(I was 17) but now I do it because it's a passion and something I love. I don't get girls because of the car, that's for damn sure. Most of them hate it cause it's too loud, as stated by others, and the fact that I'm so in to it. Oh well, if a car is the deciding factor in starting a relationship or ending it, f*** her, I don't need that childish bs.

I had something really funny to put here but it was too long.

I haven't met a girl yet that doesn't like my vert. I wouldn't call it a panty dropper, but at least they don't walk the other way when they see me coming.

I see a trend here. My girl hates I spend so much time and money with my car and how loud it is. I actually almost changed mufflers becuase it annoyed her so much. But then I found my silencer insert and things are good. I can see a club forming, Guys who have women who hate their cars. Anyone?

Girls hate my car.

Stock Body.
Stock 14" Steelies.
Loud.

They all love my wideband gauge though. Though they keep asking me if it's an outside thermometer...lol.

I pity both parties involved if an economy car was used to enhance ones attractiveness.

People need to raise their standards.

That's what I like about highschool girls; I get older, they stay the same age.

I was waiting for that quote. I new it was coming sooner or later!

Well, I drive a Sunfire, so of course girls think it's "cute", but I'm not 18 anymore and I'm married.

I think a quote halfway down the page sums it up nicely...

Quote:

Well, being a Teenage boy, i know exactly NOTHING about what goes on inside a girl's head, so i'll do my best to fake it (no pun intended).
I see Snow White making a series of three decisions, each based on something i have learned or been told, about "what women want".

The first is a simple one. To quote Good Charlotte, "Girls don't like boys, girls like cars and money". Obviously, that rules out Bart, Taz, and the Borg, for none of them can drive (and even if he could, the Borg Cube isn't as stylish a ride as Snow White would ride in, believe you me- try gettin a chick with an 86 Chevy Cavalier... but i digress).

My experieces have been different compared to a lot of guys here that have responded to my thread. Girls in my area have always like my Cavalier. It's different here in TN then some places because I'm in a black community with mostly "Donks" or old-school cars rolling on 22's and up. Cavaliers almost don't get modded at all here, which kinda gives me an edge for originality. Most guys around here dirve Cutlasses, Impalas, Classic Caprices, Buick Regals, Chevelles, and the list goes on. When a girl sees me pulling up in my Cavalier, they all look and have that look on their face like, "Who is that? Whats his name? That is a nice clean car!" Believe it or not, I have pulled a lot of women with my car even though it is not kitted. They really love the sporty look my car has. I get girls who want to ride with me, want to drive and let me chill in the passanger side, or just wanna see what I'm about by talking to me + getting my phone number. Also, my car has gotten me head time to time( while driving.. I know it's dangerous ), sex, and much more. I know that a car alone doesn't get you the women, but it can add alot to the your chances. My formula for this is as follows:

My Car + My Macking Skills = My Panty Drop Rate

For a guy who is really good at picking up a women, no matter what kind of car, the last thing the girl should see after she has been impressed with you IS your car.

I agree with a lot of people here that said that our cars are loud and some women don't like the sound, but I like my car, and so far it's been all good with me. Most girls think my car is fast No woman can make stop spending money on something. What else can I say, everyone has different experiences and mine is just as different as everyone elses.

**Edit**

No woman can make me stop spending money on something that I love and is a hobby. If a female who is not my wife does'nt like my lifestyle, she'd be gone really quick.

My g/f loves my car and she's always loved it. Even when I had a big aluminum wing. When I swapped my trunk, did my new spoiler and what not, she was like "I liked the wing, can I have it?!". That was kinda weird, and she refers to my car as "the batmobile". I don't exactly see why, but she loves everything I do and keeps informed on what I'm doing next. Even when I get annoyed when people bash me for it, she just says "f*ck em, I like your car!". She's a good g/f, lol

Well I am a girl and I all my boyfriend has ever owned is Cavaliers until this winter he bought a Sunfire just like mine. I love that he has such a strong passion for Cavs, he always makes them look, feel, and sound great! I'd feel weird getting in any other car but a Cavy with him thats why I pissed when he bought the Flower.

Had a girl tell me once that my car made her wet....but that's about it...

I have had other girls tell me they like the car...but I wouldn't count on it to get me dates....lol

I met my wife when I still had the 94 Sunbird....so I know she's not with me because of what I drive

Here's a great example of what to expect when you tell a girl you drive a cavalier....

My boyfriend makes fun of my car, I guess b/c his car has twice the cylinders and whatnot (he's got a 5.0 Mustang). But boy, you should've seen his face when I beat him from a dead stop. ...I think he might have missed 3rd, but that's NOT the point. He helps me with my mods and will give his honest opinion (no to the ram-air hood, yes to the updated spoiler, and so on). And I do get a lot of looks from guys when I'm driving, and everyone and their damn dog tries to race me. And, yes, my car is loud. I guess it's just weird to see a chick driving a modded car?

Oh, and ditto on the honda thing. My car is not an effing Honda.

a cavalier isnt really a "pickup" car... when i get my g35 then we can talk... but my car has gotten alot of complements.. basically that its clean and looks nice.. girls respect the fact that ur car is clean..i live in san antonio, and like 80% of people here drive around with dents and missing parts..so a woman here respects a guy that has a car with all its parts
