In the 10+ years I've owned my car, it has gone full cycle - from finding JBO & learning what I could do, to now where it's in sad shape & on it's way back to stock. Kinda wish I never wasted the money
I have no regrets at all for all the work done on the 'blu.
It has been my palette to paint the picture of my dreams.
No going back now.

That's awesome that you feel so good about it, makes it a bit more fun haha! I don't regret anything other than the money spent. I met my husband through this car, I learned a love of drag racing & even took trips to the Jbash & JCO bash, so it got me out to meet people. It could have stayed stock though, the rest still could have happened. Oh well.
8 years i been a member....i feel old
Ditto 5 years, I know were both getting old because my hair is starting to fall out and the clear is peeling off the top of my car...

I've been here since the beginning of 1999. Seems like forever, even still owning the 99 sunfire and I now got a 97 Z for a beater.

Just over 8 years here. Apr 2002. I havent been very active since I got out of my car club and the car scene at the end of 2006.
Bought my first J in June-ish 1999, a blue Sunfire SE couple, 2200 w 3 spd auto, 18 miles on it. Went through many changes. Many bolt-ons, Streetfire kit, Cav front end swap. Traded it in June 2004 w 115,000 miles on it. Only repaiers it ever needed was a battery and 02 sensor.
The car it was traded in on was a 2004 Cav LS Sport rally edition. It too had 18 miles on it, now has 129,000 and counting. Its been through some bolt-ons, butt hats all. Repairs so far have been a battery, 2 drivers side front wheel bearings. About to get its 3rd...second one has only lasted 1500 miles, so it was bad or not installed right.
Overall I cant really complain about my Js. They have been good to me. Especially considering how hard they were driven. Ive calmed down in the last couple years. I love my Cav, but after 10 years of driving essentially the same car im ready for something completely different. We will have to replace the wifes car first most likely, so it may be another year or so for me and the Cav.
It will be a bitter-sweet day when I leave the org.

I still remember arguing with some noob who insisted on posting as Wild Weasel, and there really wasn't anything I could do about it.

Holy hell, i joined january 8th of 2002. Ill be here 8 years this january. Lol, wow time goes by!!!! Hell, ive been on this forum longer then i was married!!!!! HAHAHAHA, ahh the good times, from the bash in St. Louis, to the bash in Lordstown, to the last bash I went to in Indianapolis. The good 'ol days!! The drunken nights at the bash to regretting it the whole next day at the car show, to drinking again at someone's hotel room. Just having fun in general. I have met a ton of people, some of who arent around anymore, some of who are still around, and most of who sold there cars. I sold my Yellow J a few years ago, but got sucked back into them now, with 3 verts!! Ehh, i love these cars, and hate them all the same time. I dont regret anything I have ever done with my Yellow J and dont regret one bit getting back into it, and now im into it with my girl whos 1000% into as much as i am!! This is going to be great!!! HERES TO ALL OF US THAT HAVE BEEN HERE FOR A LONG ASSSS TIME!!!
