I have my battery in my trunk of my fiero. Will I need a switch for it to pass tech at the strip? Its secured down though.
It would be in the passenger corner of that trunk. (not my car)
Also any other things I should be aware of and need to know before getting there?Ive never been to a dragstrip before. The rules page on the dragstrips page isnt working.

Still waiting on powdercoat to get my suspension back on (Sportlines/strut housings were sandblasted and now being powdercoated black). Brand new Koni Yellows showed up Friday.
Also waiting on trunk and rear bumper to come back from paint, a few issues, new trunk....and along with the trunk I'm waiting on my Toyo inners to come in at the dealership.

rules aren't real crazy at this track. they usually let just about anybody run. if your battery is mounted, they can't bitch

Correction, they can bitch if they want too. If the battery is relocated to somewhere within the chassis (trunk, back seat, passenger seat, you sitting on it, wheel well) it has to be in a metal covered box. The plastic boxes can be used but only on the outside of the chassis (engine compartment, bed of pickup, rear bumper, roof). A buddy of mine came across this issue when going to lebanon valley to race, they just let him know and told him to fix it for next time.
