Well today i went to the exhaust shop had them weld me up a flow tech muffler on there, that I had on there before and well it sounds very metallic and raspy and i even have a resonator before it.

After the install i began to think that the insides were not perforated it they are like a cheese grater i know this will kill performance but owuld it also make it raspy?

I'm thinking about going tomorrow to my local parts store and picking up a thrush turbo muffler would i be better off?

If you mean the cherry bomb turbo, yes it should be alot quieter.
