It's the 2nd motor that was put into it from one the guy said.

I'm thinking about looking elsewhere. after seeing the car it's not in the shape the guy or the pictures made it out to be. I'm guessing the guy ran it ran and overspun the bearing so it's knocking on heaven's door.

Maybe I will look for a sunfire and put some pink triangles on it for a good laugh.

There is a red Sunfire gt in town for $2,500. I thinking to just snag it...

There is also a white one with 68k miles... waiting to hear back on a price though.

On the red one I'd ask if they ever had the transmission fluid replaced, and test drive it first, but other than that seems like a pretty nice deal except for the automatic transmission part...

Ended up buying a 2000 Dodge Neon SE with 80,000 miles.

The owner thought it had a faulty head gasket as it idled really rough. Pulled the check engine light and got a P0340 code which is a Cam Position Sensor Circuit error. $22.99 for new Sensor... check engine light goes out, idle improves.. car drives amazing.

Total cost of vehicle $522.99 plus tax.

so.. those who dont know.. they just paved my street. i now have a brand new driveway (well the important half LOL) and a brand new street. im pumped! no more HUUUUUUUUUGE divet oil pan ripping off piece of SHIT by my garage. i also had them make the driveway extra wide, well.... the curb part anyways.. the actual driveway is the same width but now the yard is easier to get into so we can park in there etc.

planning on having a meet real soon when the street has cured and has been all cleaned off, etc. whos down?

The head is done!! All I need now is gaskets (head gaskt, timing side gasket set) and I should be able to put the engine back together.

Specs: SS valves, bronze valve guides, HO springs, Titanium retainers. Head also recieved a 5 angle valve job, and had the head milled.
