In the tradional style of Omaha based street racing forums, the registration is usually "closed for the season" starting in the fall and continuing until spring. Supposedly to prevent the "winter time bickering and bench racing" that runs rampant on these forums during the colder months.

However this is no remedy to the problem since the worst violators of the peaceful winter nights in front of your computer screen are usually long time members of the forum who know people in the know.

This has been know to cause a group of members who feel they are being singled out by the admins for thier @!#$ stirring to desert one forum and startup their own on more the one occasion.

Most recently this happened at Omaharacing.com hence nestreetscene.com.

Oh and I also seem to have been "purged" from nestreetscene probably for inactivity.

I don't think there is much you can do to stop that kind of stuff. In Des Moines we have a site like it called dragsource and it is pretty much the same thing.

A little sarcasm, however it does seem that you jump right off in someones throat when you feel necessary. I am not starting bs here, just simply stating how I see things. Yes brandon is a smart a s s though.........lol

If I were to jump down everyone's throat that put up misinformation, I'd be one of the most hated people on the org. There are just certain individuals that portray that they know a lot but then turn around and ask, "What should I do? I blew my motor and don't know what to buy." These are the individuals that I feel it necessary to get all over, but inlight of recent personal issues, I've chosen to let it all go. Life is WAY too short!

With the common interest, J-Bodies, most of us have we should all do our best to get along and help each other whenever we can. Sorry for the crap I've given any of you reading this in the past.
