I will after winter

The transmission still has a bad carrier bearing so I'm pulling the motor. Looking for an Eco out of an 07 or newer because they have gen 2 block good to 400hp. Almost traded it for a BMW 135i but decided I've put too much time in it to not finish the car. So building the motor at my dads place this fall, weeks 5557 turbo kit, and then beef up the transmission.

So I spend 10 grand instead of 34 grand in the bmw. can't make it look like a TC without keeping up with one

I dont know what to say to that. I might just go pick up a junk yard motor and throw a different head and my ground cams in with my balance shaft blanks just for somthing to do.maybe while im at it ill try to pick up just some regular stock 99+ pistons with one of my older heads.

I had some really bad money issues for a while so I haven't been able to purchase the rest of the stuff I need to get my motor ready. I still need lifters, head gasket, and timing gasket set.
