no. their hubs are integrated into the car.

only way is if you redrill your own rotors and your own hubs.

I do not know why this video has not been posted:

J-Body Neon Rear Disk Swap

ALSO - To answer the above question, I just received this PM from Josh Dearman, the man running the Rear Disk GP:

Quote:

I pull from all kinds of Dodge vehicles. You'll find the same rotors and calipers on alot of vehicles.....heres a search i did from Kragen that shows the compatible vehicles as far as rotors:

2001 - 2006 PT CRUISER
2004 - 2006 SEBRING
1995 - 2005 NEON SPORT
2005 - 2006 STRATUS

Calipers:

CHRYSLER

1995 - 2000 CIRRUS
1994 - 1997 LHS
1993 - 1997 CONCORDE
1994 - 1996 NEW YORKER
1989 - 1995 LEBARON
1996 - 2000 SEBRING

DODGE

1989 - 1990 DAYTONA
1989 - 1990 SHADOW
1993 - 1997 INTREPID
1990 - 1995 SPIRIT
1995 - 1999 NEON
1995 - 2000 STRATUS

EAGLE

1993 - 1997 VISION

PLYMOUTH

1990 - 1995 ACCLAIM
1995 - 1999 NEON
1996 - 2000 BREEZE
1989 - 1990 SUNDANCE

Honestly man, get after one of the cars listed with the same caliper...like the concorde, new yorker since there a dime a dozen and pull the rotors and calipers. I know the rotos aren't listed but they'll work im sure of it.

also, all the emergency brake stuff works off those cars.

side note;

2001 - 2006 PT CRUISER
2004 - 2006 SEBRING
1995 - 2005 NEON SPORT
2005 - 2006 STRATUS

sebring and stratus should be 4dr only. the 2dr's are rebadged/prostitued eclipses

^Yeah, when I see a sebring or stratus its 99% chance they don't have the neon equip. on em.....and yes it is the 4dr that has the neon equip and 2dr that dont.

my cavy is a 98 and doesnt have any rpv's do i still need to put the 2psi ones in?
Re: Neon disc swap how to

If it doesn't have them, why would you add them? Somewhere in this thread is a lengthy discussion about the function of RPVs and the why/ why not they should be there.

Has anyone tried the 27206 (5345) rotor?
They are listed for older chrysler/dodge cars.

Alrighty guys, i've been reading this thread and i've got almost all the stuff for this swap, but this thread is so long and so full of info i'd just like to ask a few questions to get everything straight.

1st: I've got an 05, so this means i need to replace the ebrake cable from the handle back correct to a cable 95-02?, do i have to replace the handle assembly as well?

2nd: has any one tried the brembo 27206 yet?

3rd: im having problems finding e brake shoes for a decent price. can some one confirmed for sure intrepid pads work? also what year/model do they have to be?

thanks for the help!!

well to your 1st: You only have the change the back two cables, not the cable from the handle back...that cable is the same.

2nd: not yet that I know of

3rd: havn't really found any good deals either.

I have read this whole thing 2-3 times. but never looked for this answer..

is there a clearance issues with the neon brakes and any wheel? anyone using them with stock steelies? i am bebating wheels and have all the piece sitting there but i don't want to get the brakes on and then realize it won't fit my current ugly rims

I've been told they will sit behind the stock 14" steel wheels.

The 27206 are the rotors I bought and the preliminary fittings they don't rub on the backing plate. But we'll see when I torque a wheel on.

Hey before I go ahead and install this I just have a few questions that I want to verify so I don't waste time when installing. In the recent GP, josh included 4 braided brake lines 2x 15" and 2 x33" - which ones go in the front and which in the back?

In addition to the braided lines he also included a few "terminals" I know the ones with the washer go from the steel braides lines to the caliper. However, the other one "-3 male to m10 x 1.0 FEM. concave" appears to be what he uses to connect the aluminum hard bent line with an RPV (in the video). However, Josh says he no longer advocates the use of RPVs. This end is then used for what? One end goes directly into the steel braided lines and the other obviously has to connect to the car's stock brake line...but where?
Re: Neon disc swap how to
Thursday, October 02, 2008 2:15 PM
the hard lines are the 10mm, and there are several places you can connect them. I removed the hose at the trailing arm and connected there. ( its bolted the the body at that point.) the longer ones are most likely the rear, be sure you route them away from any parts that can move later.
