2.4L DOHC Cam Cover Question
Thursday, November 01, 2018 1:42 PM
I have a 2.4 DOHC in my 98 Pontiac that is leaking oil at the camshaft covers. I have been reading manuals and looking for videos, but I cannot find good details on this job. Can the cover seals be replaced without removing timing gears? I read that the timing cover had to be loosened? Also will the cam pop up when the cover is removed as one guy stated? I am not familiar with this engine and need help from someone who is. Thanks
