ryan a 2.2 is in the works a fl. boy wants one i need to get a 2.2 intake down and look at it.

jason its being done, i think a 086 head is finding its way into my engine bay....

When these 2.3 manifolds happen, count me in

Also, are you getting new pistons to go with the 086 head's CR hike, or are you going with just a thicker headgasket (never a good idea...although, you already know that)
oh, and what cams? Your new build sounds to be extremely close to mine, depending on which cams you use.

Awesome. I have a spare mani you can cut up/use to design it. You can also use my car to prototype on also. Not like I drive it anyway!

Anyone tested vulcan's intake manifold or ran it before? I was thinking about picking one up for my turbo build in the spring.

some have used it, but "some" people have had fitment issues on j-bodies....since it was designed for delta's.

Brad - hardly nut swinging.

You have seen Fetter's stuff in person. The intake manifold he made was not only flawless, every aspect of it was well thought out and expertly executed.

I think the top three fabbers we have on this site are Fetter, Atomic and Nota2.4 (the Northstar Swap)... not in any particular order.

If Vulcan or OEM could touch their build quality, I don't doubt they wouldn't be able to keep anything in stock for more than a few days.

Fantastic #'s Gary... somebody finally shows what a well built intake manifold can do for an LD9. I'm curious to see this on an eco now...

Just some clarification, I do not think my products are the best in the world. I simply do what I can to the best of my abilities, everything I do I learn from and improve in my opinion, such as my intake I think the quality of the intake I did for jmarks is better than my own(well garys now) as far as construction and fitment. That intake works like stock too because it retains cruise control. I personally don't see the need for this post to get so off topic, this post is reporting FACTS not claims, and its talks pertain to 2 intakes none of which is to be pushing products for OEM or Vulcan you can start your own post when you have results.

Thrice on the 1st page jmarks posted pictures of the intake, his is gunmetal but the same exact manifold. There will be changes to the next intake to come but nothing you will be able to tell just improved ways of construction.

assuming brads comments were about me nut swinging.

actually i go with brands who do the research. i have seen many pictures of whats in the works. it shows the amount of research into them, on what works and what doesnt...

but what burns me is a company coming in to side swipe him by saying, hey guess who else makes a manifold besides fetter. if your getting that desperate, start your own post about making one. ill get a fetter one because its made locally, hell when i go to put it on, he said i can drive down there. we put it on, he will weld my charge pipes to fit the manifold. is OEM going to do that for me?

gary-i just want to take the time and thank you for actually using a fetter product and doing us all the humongous favor of actually dynoing that product to prove its worth.

we need more people like you that actually did go out and do something with a product and show us proof, rather than people that have not and are just following the crowd.
