Raybestos blue clutch plates are already avaliable, which are alot better than stock. There is another company that makes aluminum accumulator pistons.
Around 2004 GM made alot of improvements to the what then would be the 4t45e.
What all is done to this tranny that makes it perform so much better than a performance rebuild from Rossler or another tranny specialist?
Will a tranny brake option be available?

Its been basically 2 months.
The guy who made these claims (not the originator of this post) is a member on this forum.
I havent re-read the post but I think the guy posted ZERO times in this thread.
The claims are extreme... not just better, but insanely better.
I think its time someone posted the BS flag on all this and everyone just moved on and forgot about it.

Man I tell you it never ceases to amaze me how people whine and cry that this or that is overpriced, it cost too much, but if you try to cheap out then your modified engine burns up or blows your trans, how much will it cost you to turn around and do it right? This trans is built to the max and shouldn't break behind the strongest of our engines, stop thinking of your car as just an engine. When you modify the engine for more power & torque it will find the next weakest link in the chain and when you strengthen that then the next weakest link fails. Think of your car as a system, all of the systems have to match up or something will fail and eventually you will end up spending more than the $2600 to buy this trans.

No one is complaining about any price --- mostly because there isn't a price.
No one is ranting that they don't need it --- the people posting mostly say they do.
The product your defending does not even exist, so I wonder where you found the $2600 price for something that doesn't exist and is not for sale.

And Where do you get off saying that this doesn't Exist Promotec? It is not on the market yet but it certainly does exist and there should be plenty of proof this coming summer. Alot has happened this year as i have split with my business partner, among other things, and until recently haven't had any time to get rolling on anything. I haven't even been able to get on here much to start talking about this stuff.
Dont lose hope now as when everything is set up again ill get some pics up and get this rolling again.

Well now! lol... I started this thread because I wanted to, not because he told me to... i wanted everyone to know very badly and if it were not for me then you guys would not have even heard bout it until this summer when he would have told you when they were done.... Yea, he did say they would be done like 2 months ago, but he ran into problems that we would have never even known about if i had not made this post after discovering this project of his!
I dont think enough has happened to get upset about or to assume he is lieing... the only promise he has fell short of is one he made before knowing about the split with his partner (which is usually a huge set back) and he only made that promise most likely because I started this thread which most likely made him put a date on the completion of this project, when he probably would not have done that.
There is no 500whp auto, but IF/WHEN this tranny is released people will start turning up the boost

Protomec first off if I offended you in any way I apologize, I'm simply saying all to often I read posts here where someone has a great product they are offering and if it costs more than $100 or $200 many here start crying that it cost too much. Well speed costs how fast can you afford to go, perfect example is the 321 Stainless equal length tubular turbo header Atomic made for me it cost $875 and boy you should have heard the cries of "that's too much I'll just get a log manifold instead" and that's fine for some but I'm after the elusive 500 hp J-body which you say will never happen. I beg to differ with you on that but I'm not going to talk smack, I'm just going to build my engine & car the way I want and let the hp/tq fall where they may. Look at the guy with the LD9 turbo powered GA he's making 423hp with a log manifold, ported 2.4 head, LS1 tb, HO intake he's one of the top power producers right now. Now look at my combo pretty much same bottomend he has with a fully pnp'ed 086 head, W41 cams, extrude honed HO intake, 75mm LS1 tb and an equal length turbo header with a 60-1 turbo and you don't think I can get an additional 70 hp out of that and reach the " never gonna happen " 500whp mark? But I guess you're so much smarter than everyone else so let me stop talking because I'm a dumbass who doesn't know anything, but we shall see by June when my turbo motor is done.

Todd (Protomec) never said a 500whp jbody would never exist, he said there are none on this forumn despite many saying their goals would be accomplished... and have not yet done so.
Who really cares about your setup? If you put down the power then make the post, until then it doesn't exist. Just like this trans does to not exist. There is no proof, just a post which was abandoned for the most part. If the trans exists, show is the car it's in, post what Todd originally asked for (what trans dyno this was accomplished on etc) We don't need to hear about all the money you spent, what you think you'll put down because that's not what this post is about. Let us hear about the trans, and some proof of it so that those needing it can actually gain from it.
