Hey guys, I'm back... Sorry, I've been gone all day long having a life or I would have participated in what happened earlier! (No offense intended except for "Sunfire 2.2" -- See earlier posts to understand. )

what a surprise...another stupid ricer that turbo'ed his car and blew it up. It must suck when your Fast and Furious dreams don't come true.

Well the tranny went back in today, car runs good. For some reason though, when I left tonight, the tranny was back on the floor! I will let Chris explain, all I will say is that it was a very dissapointing night.

Its one big uphill battle from now on...hence the reason i got tired of my car and sold her.

I think everyone should stop talking @!#$ to him, hes doing an awsome job with this build. Who gives a crap that its a Sunfire, its his car let him do what he wants. If he likes it thats all that matters, it will be very unique, and unique is good

Today we are getting on the tranny issue, we are pulling it apart to inspect. Hopefully we are able to find the problem and atleast start putting it back in today.

Minor update....

leaks on the tranny have been fixed. We had a fubar'd axle seal and where I made room for the Isuzu TOB there was a minor leak that king JBWELD fixed for me... so cerimoniously we put the tranny back in and fired her up... once again fired up on the first shot and ran soooo smooth... no leaks...

everything was going great...

drove it on the stands... 1....2...3...4...5....

....then reverse...

....no reverse.


..... no reverse.



..... NO REVERSE?!?


48 minutes later the tranny was back on the floor, an in-garage Toronto Jbody mechanics record I think, and for some reason she just won't go into reverse even right at the tranny... so today I have a friend coming down to take a look at it and take it apart.

We will see, I suppose... what is wrong. I hope it's nothing big, because the tranny works perfectly otherwise, she just won't engage reverse.

so. More waiting.
