Is that the factory color, or something different. It looks different in some of the shots. It's always hard to tell before the clear anyway with some colors.

It is the factory color. that is only 2 coats of color. they still had 2 more, plus 3 coats of clear. and then a hellacious buffing.

I had to change up from what Darkstars had on his due to the extent of the damage on the corner of the hood. Plus its different. Never seen one painted like it and i didnt want to copy what darkstars had done on his. i really like how its turning out.

I actually thought about doing it in black but the problem i had with that was it wouldnt have matched the rest of the car. granted i have CF but it just wouldnt have matched.

And actually mine was not a LS sport rear. its an OEM non GM. Meaning its considered aftermarket produced by a company that cant use GM or Chevrolet due to trademark reasons.

Thanks to everyone else.

yeah so does everyone else but... there are a few reasons i didnt...
1, Didnt want to spend the extra money (i didnt have) to get it done.
2. I didnt want the body shop to have to screw with getting them on and right.
3, Nothing against the people that did Ryan's but you could still see them in certain light at night and stuff and i dont have the confidence in the shop my car is in to do it.

Should have the car back tomorrow I hope. Thats the plan anyway. I keep having the same nightmare over and over EVERY time I fall asleep. The car is parked partway out of my garage, a green front bumper no sides, cant remember if there is a rear on the car or not. the passenger side front wheel is a newer sunfire wheel, no doors, or hood.
everytime i fall asleep thats what happens. but when i wake up it still feels real. I think its cuz i want my car back that bad. well or im on drugs. ill go with the wanting car back haha.

That's a pretty screwed up nightmare dude. I've had a similar one, except I pop the hood of my 04 and see a 2.4 with the GM s/c, I think I woke up in a cold sweat one day. lol

Back story, had a 96Z with the s/c on it and had nothing but problems.
