Have you thought about Plexy windows? Or is that not allowed? Also a lot of CF will definitely help kill weight. Other than that, the car looks awesome. Your joints are near perfect and the welds looks good to. Got a Thumbs up from me

trunk is cf-tec. but im not going to lie, the car was made to the trunk lol. yea darren that was rust you should know that since your up in canada. plexi glass isnt allowed in the class ill be running the car in. im doing a manual brake setup like pjs had to change the location a slight bit to get out of the way of the turbo.

Great work man, it's nice to see someone build a proper race car.

Quick question tho, approximately what will the cage weight?

Reason I ask is my car weights in at 2400lbs (without me in it) and thats with only the interior removed from the front seats back and no carpet.

Not sure weight of the cage I was going to weight the car before and after the cage but i was super busy here lately but I would think 100lbs or less. My car last year weighed 2724lbs so I'm trying to figure everything I can do to lose weight I'm pretty confident tho I can get this car to 2500 lbs but hopefully less. Thanks for all the feedback guys.

huh? since when does cf-tec make us a trunk lid? the only ones ive seen around here with that name are stockers wrapped with carbon... you sure its not a VIS, brandon?

do these!
n-body aluminum control arms
n-body aluminum knuckles
aluminum lower radiator support brace
remove rear bumper support
aluminum spare tire well replacement cover

dont install rear sway bar or tie bar or strut brace, if z24, cut out the stiffening brace in the axle.
