no such thing as a dumb question but here is your answer the first engine i piccked up i put in the passenger side by myself and i do not recommend this the second engine i picked up i talked the junkyard into them using their forklift just have to be real careful doing it this way.

Well I got the short block in the car tranny is split and I'll be putting the LSD in tonight hopefully. The head should be done sometime next week. Ordered Injector Dynamics injectors and a clutch from Bully hopefully they will show up when I get back in 2 weeks from a lil cruise. Asa I get the head installed I'll finish wiring the standalone. So I'm hoping that in a month ill be driving this stupid thing again

Well i haven't posted any updates on here forever but i have slowly been piecing the car back together the clutch is installed got the body wiring all redone and working properly without the BCM the Haltech is most of the way wired in still waiting on some connectors for it. Still waitin on the head to get finished. Picked up my intake manifold, valvecover, and thermostat housing from my welder. Painted the valvecover and the rollcage the same blue that is on the exterior will be painting the intake mani also but got one more piece that needs welded onto it.

Looks awesome man. A couple things I see that you might wanna look into. The flange on the manny looks like it could be belt sanded or machined, the heat used to make the weld just warps that flange. The harness bar on the cage looks to be low. I could be wrong but you want it no less than 5* from the seat hole. If its to low you can cause some serious injury.

Like I said I could be wrong but I would double check it.

I Love the car, it so unique.

Flange will def need to be shaved and also the harness bar is only 1/2 inch lower then the seat opening when the seat is all the way back I thank you for the concern

so i got tired of waiting for the LSJ ported head to get done so i just threw one of the stock heads i had so that i could get the car running. Tuesday ill be putting the trans back together after i get the parts. still waiting on the 7670 so i put the 57 trim back on for now. i was just getting impatient waiting for the head and turbo wanted to get the car to atleast run due to me deploying again in the spring.
