Awesome work! I love that upper helm joint/ball joint setup. I wanted to run the Vette knuckles on my project, but had to get around the ball joint being on the knuckle and not the upper arm.

Making those tapered adaptors was my way around it. It took me a few days to come up with something, but it worked

Coolant system held pressure and the electronic water pump has more than enough potential to maintain temp.

Started her up today with the new harness installed so I could fully test the digital controller for the water pump and the dual fuel pump setup. The fuel pressure was bouncing all over the place. I think the pumps are battling each other, so Im going to install the check valves at the pump to see if that with help. If not, the my regulator might be shot even though it is new. Need a new turbo or rebuild mine and need to have axles made to accommodate the new corvette hubs. Too much to do before the show in April. Blah

To solve my fuel pressure issue, I picked up these inexpensive check valves from NAPA. Works perfectly for 27 bucks.

Finally pulled the water pump gear off, as well as removed the balance shafts from the rotating mass. Doesn't really vibrate much more, but definitely revs quicker.

Some more metal that I removed from the rear of the car. Thats pretty much is for cutting waste metal off.

Here is a shot with the rear wheel sitting in place. I have already cut out a lot of the quarter and still need to cut about 2-3 inches out to allow for suspension travel.

Finally made the seat slider mounts for the drivers seat and welded up the shift links for the new shifter.

that rear wide body would be perfect. you could mold it on and have it hang down over the tires so you don't see all that cut up quarter

Instead of having axles made, I decided to make these slip over spacers to account for the difference between the corvette full splined hubs and partial splined axle ends.
I didn't have a drill bit large enough to drill the back half of the hubs out, better option. Im still on the search.

Rear lower ball joints

finally filled in the factory gas door hole. I still need to finish cutting the wheel well out to clear the rims and then I can make the flares.

Thanks to Sonus Evolution for helping me out with some MASS filler to sample for the contouring of the fender flare contact points.

the start of the front sway bar brackets.

Completed the rear upper x-brace, just waiting on the grade 8 bolts to come in.

Had to make a need dash to accommodate the angle of the steering wheel.
