That lift in your garage is effin' sweet!

Nice work on the car.

Looking forward to the BC / Swift setup update. Did BC get back to you about the issue you had with the rear adjuster extenders?

Re: Cheap Taiwanese crap!

They did. They dont have anything to offer me as the extenders are not for our cars but still get them for free. If you look on the previous page I just took and ran them on the drill press and a file and made them fit the extenders. only need to take off about 1/16" to make them work.

And yes....the lift is awesome.

My recent bit of maintenance parts have showed up....now to take the time to install them!

MOOG sway bar bushings and endlinks

EBC rotors and Hawk HPS pads

RK Sport Rear strut bar

Kent moore cam tool for my new used LNF rockers and lifters

Saikou Michi Catch can with -10 an fittings

Got the brakes installed today. Did a quick paint job on the calipers and knuckles. Looks much cleaner and the brake job was VERY needed.

Old and busted..

Rotors were worn so much the slots and drilled holes were almost gone.

And cleaned up!

Ditched the -10 AN pushlock fittings in favor of -10 AN braided fittings...That being said damn these things are pricey!

These will be for plumbing my catch can.

Man that's a nice catch can setup! It's definitely on my to do list. I think the oil and gunk clog up the laminova cores and make them less effective over time. Hope you like the rotors as much as I do.

Honestly im kinda regretting going this direction with the catch can. catch can was $140 and ill have more than that into fittings and hose to hook it up. Not to mention the welding on my intake and valve cover lol.

My iat's are actually pretty good when im moving and playing. Barely get over 115*

The brakes are great! Stops much better then before. Im going to do my stainless lines and new brake fluid soon so im sure that will help as well.

How much longer must we wait? Haha, how low are you planning to go?

Re: #Catchcanparts

I wont be going to to low. I live in canada and its my dd.

Ill be going as low as I can before fitment becomes an issue. Im going to try and get the fronts done this week sometime. I have to find some pvc pipe at work and ghetto roll my front fenders and then ill slap them on. Then ive been reading that people say to put some miles on them before getting an alignment so im going to drive on them for a week or so. I only drive about 15miles a day.

My alarm fob was looking pretty beat up so I bought a new case for it. Makes it look new and almost matches my car! Sparkly Blue!

Rolled and slammed yet?

Re: #Catchcanparts

Nah man..

Im in camp right now in northern Alberta. I get back in the middle of Sept and ill be installing them then.

I dont know if im going to slam it though. But ill be bringing it down a fair bit.

I cracked the paint on my front fender without doing barely any roll.

That's a bummer. Did you use a heat gun while rolling?

Re: #Catchcanparts
Sunday, September 01, 2013 6:38 PM
No..

But I didn't even roll the fender at all.

All I was trying to do was take the warp in the lip out and it cracked right away with next to no pressure on it. I was pretty bummed.

Prolly just going to #YOLO it and then paint the front end. Although contemplating selling it and buying a different car.

Guess your paint said @&$? that, I'm not stretching...that sucks.
Selling? How come, just tired of it and need something new?

I may not sell....

Just thinking about getting something a touch newer. But then again I may just be annoyed with my car at this time. I know ill never own another j again though. Had them for 10 years.

Looking at something rwd. Or possibly a cobalt ss/tc

So far liking the idea of a FD rx7

That car looks pretty slick!

Did you say my car looks slow??

Re: #Catchcanparts

The car is alive and well.

Me and car have a love hate relationship. I want to sell her but cant really find anything that excites me.

I am currently working in northern Alberta in a camp now so time is limited but budget has increased lol.

In the last couple "days off" I have installed my rear sway bar and rear strut bar and thats about it.

Working on collecting the parts for my Saturn/Neon rear disc swap and waiting for a TVS to pop up.

2014 will bring more power, more mods and prolly a blown motor!

Lol we can be in the blown l61 club together. I'm just looking for the right deal on a tvs at this point. Good to to hear you're getting some good work! Do you like the sway bar in the rear? I love mine!

I do like the sway bar in the rear.

Sadly I havent had a chance to "test" it.

I work 3 weeks straight a month and where I live there is no close testing roads.

But it does feel alot stiffer in the rear and really levels the car out.

Ill be changing the front coilovers over this week and new sway bar endlinks and bushings for the front.
