I got a little bored a few weeks ago. So I decided to trim down the balance shafts, just to drop some weight. I'm going to be using an electric water pump. So the balance shafts wont be turning, and I don't want to ruin the block with the delete inserts.

Here is the start of one of the headlight housings. Its just insulating foam board glued together with spray adhesive. I've already formed the two holes for the projector lenses. But need to finish the contour work before I upload a photo. Hopefully it will look better afterwards. But not bad for my first time doing this.

Here is what the car used to look like before I destroyed it with my creativity.

I was utilizing a full air suspension setup at that point. but then switched over to some stance coils on some cheap sleeves with modified struts/shocks. oh yea, and engine brackets/mounts to raise the engine b/c of driveline angle. the overall height of the car is 5inches, if not more, lower now than in this pic.

looking at the before pics, I totally would have traded you the drag car for that. lol

Always wanted a White 2k Z Vert w/ black top. Throw on a CF Invader hood, CF trunk..... the black lip kit..... the only J car I would ever own again.

Finally picked up the material to build the frame. I'm probably just going to order the jegs nhra/ihra 10 or 12 point cage, save some time/money/headaches for the time being.

The frame is just tacked in position for now. Need to pick you some more gas to finish it with some cross braces.

Frame is ready to be tacked in the car. Hopefully cutting the floor out today. If so, then the frame is going to be in today.

Also picked up the heim joints to start the lower control arms. Just waiting for the rest of the heims to be shipped.

Slowly coming together.

Frame is in, need to do more measurements before I weld it in.
