all sorts of good parts at Jason's house. Let me know if you need an extra hand when you start putting the cav back together. Looking forward to when this build is finished.

Nope. To the best of my knowledge he still has it. I tried to buy Camron's, but I could not make it out to Indy to pick it up

I will need a hand pulling the motor out for sure.

Just picked up some parts from powdercoat. The color is copper tein in a hammertone finish. The turbo compressor housing is coated in ceramakrome from Techline.

Thanks for the compliments on the color. I wanted something different that will still contrast with the Cayenne Red, but not get lost in it either. The gold I had with the supercharger was nice, but I am not sure if there was enough of it, or it was the wrong shade as it kinda of disappeared in the engine bay

The bottom half of the cam tower is black. I did not see the need in painting as you will not see it very well ( unless you are looking for it or the turbo ).

I'm really digging that colour - any chance you can get a close-up photo in the sunlight for a better look?

I think this color would be nice in Sweetness, but that is just me.

Here is one in the sunlight, but I will see if I can get a better one later

Not much going on lately. Still collecting parts and not installing any of them

Thanks to TTR for sending me a new upper engine mount bushing

Figured I would mockup some of the parts to see what everything looks like together

Picked up a Hahn universal intercooler from Shawn McKenzie. 24"x6"x4.5"

Looks like the one I have on Sweetness except that it has NPT to AN fittings installed.

You need a filter relocation kit for an LT1... it's the only engine that shares the same thread pitch as the LD9.

Took me a LONG time to find out that info 6 years ago on the internet.

Jason - I love everything EXCEPT the red timing chain cover. Why did you leave it red?

I have heard that a couple times already, so I am relooking at the idea. Unfortunately that timing chain color was a result of me changing my mine yet again. My original plan was to have the cam towers polished, not the current color

I am undecided how I am going to run the relocation kit. I may wait until I have the motor in the car to figure out where everything else going to fit. There is also an oil cooler that needs a home too

Jason looks great man. My daily and the wifes has killed my funds also lately.

I agree the timing cover now kinda looks weird.
