Some more progress
Picked these up for $150 gonna see if the offset will work once its done
Got the flywheel and had it machined
Test fit the motor, tranny, and headers
Snow is finally melted so it's about time to start making mounts and get that b*tch in the car lol
Those look like Speed Daddy headers. That's what I have on mine and I had to cut the firewall to fit the collector and they still just barely fit, though my crossover still doesn't fit the headers. Cut the flex pipe off and have the downpipe welded up to meet at the collector, the flex pipe on mine drops below the subframe. Fortunately there are no clearance issues with the subframe.
The work looks good so far, keep up the progress
I figured I'd have clearance issues with the headers lol thanks for the info
Nice - what kind of power are you hoping to make?
Honestly I have no idea lol I don't really have a goal
Def sub'd. I am interested in a 3800sc swap, but I'm wanting to do it in either a 95 up blazer or s10/sonoma with a 5 speed. That way where I'm at it would be a unique drag setup. Plus if I want to get crazy I'd just ditch the sc and TT it. Anyone here of alot of these sorts of setups?
Some more progress - haven't messed with the car a whole lot, been tryin to get my sedan done first hahaha
Had another set of bumpers and side skirts painted
Dropped the motor and tranny in over the weekend - time to make mounts and a subframe
