I like to see more e85 being used.

Been following this build for a while now. My setup seems to act similar based on the videos of yours that I have seen. I'm excited to see where this goes.

I'm getting those and some other machine work done this week that should further improve performance.

And I love goodies!

Surprisingly Summit had everything in stock

Sorta, kinda had a new turbo show up on my doorstep..... Too bad my dog ate it already.

I can never leave well enough alone and have already gasket matched the turbo to my new gasket and my manifold.

I had a big 16G TD05 Mitsubishi turbo, that I had upgraded to a 20G compressor wheel and cover. I now moved up to a full TD06 Mitsubishi turbo, with a Garrett 60-1 compressor wheel. Should allow for increased airflow in and out of the engine. The TD06 is physically the same dimensions as the TD05, CHRA in fact is identical. But the turbine wheel and hotside is much larger as can be seen in the pictures.

Also I have installed my Zeitronix ECA ethanol content meter and redesigned the fuel system. I removed the fuel inlet line and put the ethanol meter inline between the fuel hoses. Doing this I had to relocate my fuel pressure gauge/sensor to the opposite end of the fuel rail. I have the gauge and wiring ran now. The location of the ECA gauge is temporary, but functional.

More updates and progress coming soon...

How big is the tube that houses the sensor for the ethanol meter?

I have -8 supply and wouldn't want to go smaller than that if possible. But I like the sensor idea that's kinda cool.

Its standard 3/8 tube. Same as factory fuel supply line. Detailed and drove it some today.

Got me some wheels and tires for the Sunflower, just in case I ever get the car finished and tuned.

Just some basic Cragar steel wheels 15X8 size. Actually they're designed for Mustangs and the like, 5X4.5 bolt pattern. The NWF swap I have is a 5X115 pattern and is essentially identical to the 5X4.5.

I also finally ordered some slicks. Hoosier 26X9/15. They're kinda wide....

Actually, scratch that. They're VERY f---ing wide!!!

They're about the maximum width I could go playing with back spacing and tread width. I have almost full local to lock turning capability, only rubbing slightly on the inner splash shields. I won't need that much mobility for track use so I'm OK with it. I have my machinist making me some hub centric rings for the wheels. They're designed to be lug centric but I'm not comfortable with just lugs holding these on center, better to be safe than sorry.

I've got some driving time with the new turbo setup and everything seems to be going great. E85 tune and 11's are hopefully soon in the future!

Awesome!

Small e85 note, get ready to empty the catch can a LOT. I get about a cup of liquid in mine every time I drive it; granted it usually sits a few days between being run. I just built a larger can (probably overkill) cause the amount of liquid i was getting in the tank was going past the tube that went down inside. Mine is not atmospheric vented though, its under vacuum all the time, so Im sure that contributes to the amount being a bit more.

First time I dumped the tank and saw clear liquid come out I panicked, but then after some reading, it seems to be an e85 thing. Moisture just gets in there.
