My 97 Dodge Neon. It was slow, had a 3 speed auto, and almost no options. But it was real good on gas, I only had to do 2 repairs on it in the 7 years I owned it (compared to 15 in my 04 Cavalier which is just over 2 years old), and best of all it was my grad present so I didn't have to make payments on it cause it was free!

The guy I sold it to had totally trashed it within a month. It was literally showroom clean when I sold it. He actually cut the dashboard open adn duct taped it back together.

I miss my truck. It was a absolutely mint 87 Dodge Ram. It had the ram on the hood, and 0 rust or dings. Original paint, and only 48,000 kms on it. I bought it in 02 from the original owner. It was sitting under a cover in his barn, and hasn't been used in 10 years.

It was a beautiful red on the outside, with red interior.

It was a slant six, with 904 tranny.

I added a hyperpac intake manifold, with a 4 barrel 500cfm edelbrock carb. Had a custom cam ground for it, and also put on some dutra duals headers, and a custom high flow exhaust.

It was pretty quick, probably low 16 sec truck. Took it to accouple of local shows, but never won anything. (not that I was expecting to win) The thing I loved most, was hauling everything around with it. I would haul my dirtbike to the trails every weekend with that truck. Even took the truck offroading afew times.

It was a regular cab, and had the most comfortable bench seat I've ever sat in. It was perfect for snuggling with my gf at the time, or even to lay down and take a nap.

I loved that truck, but my neighbor backed into it, and wrote it off.

I miss my dad's old "77 Monte Carlo. It was red with the white back top and he had a 454 in it. It was never mine but I sometimes wish he never got rid of that thing. I would of bought it off him for good memories sake, lol.

my first car was an 89 camaro RS with a 305. i couldn't afford gas AND insurance, so i sold the car. made the worst mistake, i sold it to the guy across the street. his ole lady was driving it and got tboned. not only did i have to see it across the street, but i got to see it across the street completely totalled. i cried when i saw the car come down the street on the flatbed. i still get misty eyed anytime i see a well taken care of blue 89 camaro RS. bad stuff.

There are a couple I really miss. The one I miss the most was a 1980 American Motors AMX. It was the last car to wear the AMX name, and they only built 865 of them that year. Since I sold mine I have never seen one in better shape since.
The second one was a 1988 Chevy Beretta GTU. I really liked that car. It was featured in a photo layout in Collectible Automobile magazine back in1992. After the guy came an took pics of the car I swore I would never sell it. I ended up selling it to buy a 1987 Shelby Lancer.

I miss my sleeper. SOOOOO many people lost horribly to that car. Best quarter mile was a 13.1 with 1-3rd breaking the tires loose on a crappy hot and humid day. Wish i had a video or it. I may have to call the guy who bought it from me and see if i can get a vid of it. I do miss my sunfire and prelude too though.

I regret selling a few cars. I regret selling my Calais W41, and I regret selling my my 97 Tracker (don't laugh, the guy I bought it from had put a 4.3 Vortec in it). But most of all, I regret selling my Galant VR4.

aww...i understand.

i just don't get how you could go to FWD after having an AWD car. it's like going to a concert and turning off the sound. it's just not the same.

Hmm...I'll go ahead and show just how old I am here....

First car ever was a 78 Mercury Monarch...3 speed V8 and I could lay a one wheel burn out in that thing for ever I think!!! I miss it but not all that bad I guess? Had an 8-track!

Second car was a 70 SS Chevelle...396 and I loved that thing!! Blew it up though and with limited funds could only get a 350 in it and hated after that! Sold...well...trashed is more like it...traded it in lets say! Had a Dukes of Hazzard horn though :-)

Third car was a 85 Pontiac Sunbird...HATED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4-door...slow as all get out (of course after having a Chevelle!!)

Traded for a 87 Madza B5200 or whatever they were called...first modded car (well truck) I had! Lowered, system, rims, tires....the whole mini truck craze thing! Like it but traded it in!

Car I miss the most....89 Z24! That's what I got after the Madza truck....loved that thing!! Owned it 11 years before I sold it before going to Japan. Miss the heck out of that thing!!! I did, went, saw, and had many, many good time in that car...sorry to see it go!

Toyota Carib...yeah never heard of that one huh? SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although the adjustable ride height was pretty cool!

Next on the list was the Cavy! 2002 LS Sport...love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I drive a 93 Saab Aero...LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! (still own the Cavy!)

Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?

You grey-haired, ponytail wearin, midlife crisis havin', viagra poppin' somethin-or-other! I would kill to have a '70 Chevelle!!!

And yeah going to FWD (A Cavalier no less) after having that VR4, well, yeah. I might as well have thrown myself in front of a Mack truck on I-80 at that point.

Hey now....well ok...yeah..that's kind of like me!

Yep...I hear you on the power to 4 banger thing....Chevelle to a Sunbird...hrmmm...why did I do that again?

I went from a 4-banger with a disproportionally sized set of balls to a Cavalier with an estrogen overdose. You went from a V8 arse whoopin on wheels to ... a Sunbird? Got tired of the high gas prices or what? WHat the hell were either of us thinking...

No harm intended with the old man jokes, bro. Hell, I'm 26 and I'm already bald. And I'm pulling grey hairs out of my goatee all the time so if you've still got what it takes to even grow a ponytail, then you win.
