i like the gold personally... if you do change it though, it really needs to stay a lighter color. it would be a shame to lose all the detail of the wheel with a dark color.

Thanks Sweetness! I'm gonna go out and gather the supplies possibly today. It appears in this thread that it is a hate it or love it type of thing for the gold. Decisions, decisions.

Thanks y'all. They actually look even better now since I buffed them using this..

Well worth the $20 for the kit.

The car is dirty as hell right now so pics wouldn't be worth taking, but it did a hell of a job.

If you waste any time, money, or effort changing the color on those wheels, I'm probably going to kill you lol. They look perfect!

I'm curious to see how that kit did for you, as I have some polished stuff to maintain. (Specifically a H.O manifold which will be a total pain in the ass to keep polished in all the nooks and crannies) I haven't yet invested in a Mother's powerball but I do love their Mag & Aluminum polish with just a polishing wheel.

I'm in for pics (close up) when you take them, I'm curious to see the reflection you got and if all the marks/sanding scratches are out.

I STILL would have hit the lip with a polishing wheel and jeweler's rouge before that Meguiars step!

Needs to go a little lower to kill the gap.

Cleaned the car yesterday evening.

If I want to go lower, I will need to adjust camber or roll the fenders in the rear. My rear tires are 295/25/20. They rub a bit when the car dips. Its already lowered on sport suspension.

I love the car and wheels for sure! I wouldn't go any lower. It's a driver, not a show or track car. As it sits, that car has a nice, low, not unusable stance(the actual word stance as in how the car sits, not the faggot ass term for stretched tires and a @!#$ ton of camber lol).

Thanks! Don't worry, I wont be intentionally stretching any tires on this car. The rear tires are close to bald so I will probably just grab 275/30/20's for the rear and call it a day.

Its funny you say that because I just bought a house. Closing on it ends on the 29th and then my car will be garage kept.
