Yeah it is one heck of a deal and I was glad they still would honor it but I need that front weather strip now cause its all dried out and leaks when it rains out.

I just called and talked to Heidi. They are still out of stock but expect them to be in by the end of the month. She did allow me to place the order so when they come in they will ship. The total was $287 delivered for the full set. She says they won't be honoring that price for long but for those that call and place the order they will honor that price if you are a J Body member.

Anyone have any tips on installing this weatherstripping? I have installed weather strip on a few cars in the past so I know about 3M Adheasive. I have the convertible manual but would like some real world advice.

i used a PTFE plastic knife i fit from my body man. Take your time and remove all the leftovers, most with come off with the old weather strip. Just work it with the knife where it mees the channel while pulling up on the old strip. Most of the old adhesive will come off. Installing start in the middle and work your way out it pretty forgiving. Go back and forth down the cannel with adhesive short runs at a time that stuff sets up fast. tack the knife and push the edges into the channel, youll see it set squarely when it seats properly. One tip when you get to the bottom of the windsheild pillars. coat the back of the stip that have the funny drop channel and stick them to the body, then take a wadded up towel and mash it in the door jamb and close the door slightly till the glue sets up.

by the way PTFE is that slippery self lubricating white plastic that most cutting board are made out of.

Thanks I like the idea of using the plastic knife to scrape the old one off.

i was told that the will still give it to people from the forum but i have to call tomrorow to actually order it and they are still out, i believe they said like 2 months before back in stock again but I don't care as long as I can fix my leaks and stop getting a wet ass when driving inthe rain it will be great. so 286.37 should be the total cost for shipping plus the product?
