Thats my intention.
But what about longevity? Do any of the cobalt guys have any good mileage on them yet?
They have been in use for over 3 years in many cases, no issues, so all going well.

Awesome. When my clutch time comes, I'll be hitting you up for one for sure. That's the best price I've seen yet for a nice stage 1.
Thanks for all the new orders!

Give it a 500 miles in town/light load break in and you should be good to go. Thanks!

Just Dave (2 UNIQ) English! wrote:I shall be looking into buy a stage 1 or 2 im not sure what the difference is though care to explain?
Stage 2 holds more than Stage 1
Stage 1 is a full face disc
Stage 2 is a puck style disc
Stage 1 is for stock or bolt ons.
Stage 2 is for full bolt ons to minor boost.

OEM CAMBER/CASTER KIT 10 People for $210 <P>
GOT ECOTEC?
Bolts on are everything except turbo/nitrous/supercharged.
Most have been getting the stage 1 and stage 2, not many members are over 300 HP/torque for the stage 3 KY

bought a KY stage 3 from you guys for my cobalt ss/sc, and i absolutely love it. best bang for the buck period. Consistent engagement every time even with 20xxx miles so far, and probably 60+ runs at the track. i only have a ported blower, 2.8 and a tune and other cooling mods but still takes the abuse every time i drive.
highly recommended and definitely buy from TurboTech, awesome customer support! will be buying from them again soon!
Thanks! KY Performance Clutch is an awesome product!

160$ shipping on a clutch and flywheel.... no thanks
what a rip off!!!!!!
it's not a ripoff, your shipping products that are in the United States through customs to another country that also weigh around 35 lbs. it's not going to be cheap
01' Z24 5 speed
422whp/400wtq
T4 Turbocharged
Built LD9
HP Tuners
Last Time i bought a clutch and flywheel it was from Karo and paid around 60-70$ for shipping
Thats 100$ difference, im sorry but that is a HUGE difference.
Anyway i contacted KY directly and its cheaper, way cheaper.
Man I shipped a t3 turbo and a sheet metal intake manifold in one box and it was $45 cdn shipped to the states.
That shipping charge is little ridiculous. My guess is its through UPS and they now seem to add the duty charges and brokerage beforehand so thee is no surprises when they drop the package off. I only ship and receive parts through USPS/Canada Post for that reason.
Im also lucky and live close to the border so I also just go over the border sometimes and pick my parts up there.
I'm currently on the fence about grabbing one of their Stage 3 clutches. I know the Cobalt guys love them, but I need to know how the J's handle them.

Agreed, at that price is USPS (postal mail)
No to little taxes with USPS, compared to UPS/Fed EX, in the end you WILL pay more for UPS. You will learn after you have it happen once.

PLUS if he would have CONTACTED us, we sure could have worked something out. If he wants UPS shipping it would be WAY cheaper to Canada.
