I got my 91cavy in April of 98 sold it in march of 99 got my 99 sunfire 3 days before the 91 sold, then I sold the sunfire in May of 02 and did not have a car for just over 3 months and in sept of 02 I got the 00 cavy with just 38k. The 00 cavy has been with me the whole time and is sitting in the garage awaiting for Boosted life, so I've owned Js for 13 years now and I've had my cobalt for going on 3 years now and it sits right next to the 00 cavy in the garage.

My history of cavaliers goes waaaaay back. My parents bought a used 2 door 86 cavy in like 88, I was 6 but I loved that car, they eventually traded it in. Round 1990 my grandfather bought an 86 4dr which was given to me when I was 16 in 98 and I drove it until the engine died in 01. Thats when I bought my Z brand new and still have it in way less than new condition
Around 03 I bought a 92 4dr beater and kept it til I bought my 96 DDvert in 07. Also I went through a 70, 71, and currently own a 78 chevy truck. And I had a 94 Buick century that I sold like a year ago.
Man....now the 04 is 8 years old! Yikes!
These cars are sure getting up there....

1990 Cavalier Z24 - New Nov. 1989 -> Retired in April 2004 due to rust. Engine still going strong at 320,000 KM (200,000 Miles).
2004 Sunfire 4-door New April 2004 -> Still going strong at 440,000 KM (275,000 Miles). Transmission replaced at 96,000 KM due to no convertor lockup. (Yea for 100,000 KM warranty). AC, alternator, power windows, etc. all working as well as they ever did.
1985 Cavalier convertible purchased in November of 1986 with 5,000 miles. Been in our family ever since. Although it wasn't in my name until last year, It has been our families car for 25 years. It has 88,000 miles (and now has a 3500 in it)
I bought my 2000 Cavalier when I was 15, and had it til March 17th, 2005 when someone hit me and totaled it. In its place I got a 2002 Cavalier and have had that since. So at this point, I've had Cavaliers for 13+ years. Only type of car I've owned. I'm quite happy with it.
A little over 11 years now. Bought my 99 Cavalier in 2001, I'm the second owner.
I have had mine for 4 years now and plan on keeping it for a long time from now.
2002 Chevy Cavalier Coupe 2200 SFI 5SPD Manual with 91450 miles.
Oil changed: 89616 miles with Amsoil 5w30 Signature Series and Amsoil oil filter.
I had an '86 for 4 years. Got rid of it for a '91. Got rid of it for a Taurus (big mistake) because it was bigger for the family. Now I'm back with a '00. Lovin' it! 12 years probably altogether.
1990 Z24 - 1990->2004 Retired due to rust
2004 Sunfire - 2004->still going strong at 460,000km, 287,500mi.

Which is in better shape?. lol
I just technically bought my first J!! A 97 Chevy Cavalier Z24. The other two listed under my cars were my boyfriends, but I drove them more (cept for the Sunfire, that ***** hated me...)
May the odds be ever in you favor.....
I got my fist J in 2007, but the one I own now was bought new by my Dad in 95. I got that one in late 2009. No longer own the one from 2007... (it's dead Jim.)
the 97z i had from spring 01 til spring 09.....so a good 8 years. i still miss it, for sure, but life comes before cars at some point i'm afraid
Bought my first J in 08 replaced it with the fire in 10 so all together 4 years and counting. Don't see myself without a J in my garage.
