The car stays this crazy paint and fade with gray bumpers to give off the "Sleeper Look" Chris! That was my intentions from the beginning, but it seems that my seceret has become the talk of the town as far as the street racers go. So it's time to put the Ferret in storage for now untill the head is done!

Hey look. I'm just doing you and me a favor. Favor for you so you can have something that looks good that represents who you are and what your rides look like. Favor to me so I can keep up on my graphic design skills.

I am not selling anything off my car, just parts that I have no use for. I have 2200 pushrods that are a direct drop-in to a 98-02 2200, and the rocker arms have 10mm studs instead of 8mm studs. If you know anyone that wants higher lift rockers for their 2200, I'll sell them cheaper than I would for a 2.2 only because you'll need to buy the ARP 8mm studs.

Ian, I have an answer for you. The reason I cal the Ferret "The Ferret" is because the many times that I have broke it, it always finds it's way home. Whether it's a flat tire, a broken motor mount, fuel pressure regulator, or a melting spark plug, it refuses to stop running! It avoids major injury even if I push it too far! I take very good care of it, and in return I get no grief!

ok, i need a new cat converter. any idea where to find a 2.5" ot a 2.25" cat for a decent price? i'm getting that nice smell now, lol.

The rotten egg smell! Yes! That is the best smell ever!

As far as a replacement cat, I have a catco high flow cat that was around $60. Then again, it depends on where you get it!

Screw it Chris, hollow out the stock cat, and put the rear O2 sim from caspers electronics on it, you'll fool the OBD-II into thinking that the cat and the O2 sensor are still there, and you'll still pass arizona emissions!

Mine smelled if I was on it a lot!

gutting the cat and putting on the that 02 sim won't make the car run rich or lean? i may just see if i can find a test pipe then cut the cat open then tac weld it around the test pipe. what size is the cat that you have? and how much you need for that spare valve cover?
Re: Tucson J's III

I got a high-flow cat from Don's Hot Rod Shop on 1st Ave. and I think Roger. That was when I owned a 96 Fire. They do have stuff for 4 cyl stuff there too, but mainly universal parts.

Chris, the o2 sim or removing the cat is just that, removing the cat. All this really does is reduce backpressure, as far as a plugged cat, just pull it. It's not like we're in cali were if you get stopped the cop looks to make sure your car has all the nessesary emissions equipment. Here even though it's OBD-II, we don't look for a cat because the computer will look for us. Having a test pipe and an o2 sim, we won't even know it didn't have one!

By the way, my cat is 2 1/4".

John, why not in a supra?
