oh and my sisters car is having problems again...the neg terminal on her battery corodded so bad the car wouldn't start...like 1/2" thick gunk around it...the wires have been replaced by ford under recalls...gone through 3 batteries...what could be the problem?...my friend is thinking it could be a bad alternater or the wrong alternater is in the car
if its that corroded at the battery , the battery is leaking , which is usually over chargeing which causes that , most equipment in car/trucks shuts off once the voltage goes over 15.5 to 16 volts
but there is difinetly a problem there !! did she buy it new ? cause more than 3 times in for the same problem is lemon law time
