^^
Thats my issue blu, I have all poly now and my car killed a TTR upper in short order. Like sagging and moving in a few thousand miles. I believe that if you were making more power you would feel differently about it.

Like I said I know these wont be for everyone, but I think they would be a great option for a lot of people.

Lack of interest kinda killed the idea. I sent him a poly mount insert to model after but since not many spoke up I don't think he ever started the project. Maybe more people can get this going again.

Ive been tossing around the idea of aluminum inserts. Delrin would be cool as it would offer a slight amount of flex unlike aluminum. A higher durometer poly might work as well. Ive tried asking a couple times what poly is used in the TTR mounts with no response.

Ive also wondered if machining a poly rather than casting it like the TTR inserts are would have any benefit.

I totally forgot I bought a solid lzm mount. Its siting in the trunk of the car. Might be up for some reprints bushings for it rather than the solid aluminum.

I decided to grab some prothane trans bushings, motor mount insert, and control arm bushings I had sitting in the garage and take them to work. I used a shore a durometer on them to see what they are made of. The control arm bushings were 90 shore a, the used motor mount was only 60 shore a but I think that may be due to being used. The trans mount insert was only 75shore a.

Seems strange that it would be made of a softer material than the control arm bushings. For giggles I measured teh jeffies delrin trailing arm bushings and it just pegged out the meter. They should be shore d.

75-95 shore a would be perfect for most mounts. Window urethane is normally about 90 shore a. It can be poured and molded for mounts, or you can fill you current mounts with it.
