Hopefully not many of you, but how many on this forum know how it feels to spend hours upon hours washing, and waxing your car. Spending time trying to bring back the paint to it's youth, since you really don't have money for a new paint job, or anything for that matter. Who knows how after countless hours have been spent waxing the hell out of your car, to wake up to find someone sideswiped your car in the middle of the night, and just drove away. No witness at 3:00a.m., no idea who did it. Only thing you can do is apply rubbing compund, pick up some touch up paint and do what you can. Then drive around town looking for a black car thats got my white paint on it. Sorry for the story that you might find to be wasting your time, but I'm just venting. Someone sideswiped my car, and just drove off. Being 19, and in debt (thank you UTI), I can't afford comprehensive insurance, and can't afford to repaint my car. It may not be the nicest cavalier around, but I work like hell to bring it back, just to have it tarnished by some scumbag who can't drive. Thanks for letting me vent JBO.

i just bought my truck a month and a half ago and last Thursday someone traded paint with me on the drivers side of my bed then the same vehicle opened a door into the drivers side front fender and did $400 worth of damge to the fender. Didn't catch them because they came and went before I got back. That sucks for me.

you know the feeling when you put a ton of money into your car to make it go faster, but it doesn't because your automatic transmission has so much powerloss the car barely moves? yea... that one sucks too

thanks for the responses, I'm working on repairing the scratches. It's not the first time either, my last car (peice of crap honda) I took care of, bam, someone keyed the entire body of the car. All 4 doors, whole car, but it was a honda, so I sold it for my cavalier, which I now have to deal with paint problems again. I'd love to know who done it...

Not sure who did it, but yea it was right in front of my house, so if you notice anyone in town with white paint on a black car, hit me up. On the plus side, I've gotten most of it out w/rubbing compound, it's gone from a 3 foot area down to about two 6" scrapes. Too bad the paint is scratched off
yeah my cars been egged a lot and somebody slammed a gate into it denting the passenger front quarter panel or maybe it was the wind but i doubt it
yea i just put 2k into my car in the past couple months and i walked out of class the other day to find some cadillac pushed up into my front bumper, just parked there, people are @!#$ stupid and have no respect for other peoples things
