Rob, to the ones local ones that i have been to, there hasn't been any drama, that i've noticed, everyones been kewl. Now regarding the big ones ie, super chevy... i dunno about yet, but i guess i'll see for myself pretty shortly......
Please, i want a saved spot.... you know what my car looks like, and its nowhere being anything i can enter, i just want to go, check out some other rides, (if they have it, maybe enter a "best improved") have some fun, and just enjopy a weekend...
I just hope to god, that there won't be no drama crap over there, i can't stand it......

I'm not making any promises, but I'm going to try to be there. If so it would only be for one day, which day would be best?
Thats cool Jack if you can only make it one day .. if you intend on showing then sunday will be the best day due to thats when ALL the best racing is and also the day they give out awards... If you just want to come in and just look around then come anyday Sat or Sun... hope to see you there ..... thanks for the update

Little update....
I may be switching companies to. If this happens then there is a slim chance I'll be in at S.C. This would also mean I will go to Buford.....and that sucks.
This would mean a $6 an hour raise too!

well i plan on going to the show but i am not entering the ride in bc if i do go i am riding with my old man in the impala ( 94 lt1 with the l4 conversion on it ) so that would be my ride....but i will definitly look out for you all while i was there

Wilma Forces Schedule Changes to Super Chevy Show.
AutoStar Productions has announced the following schedule modifications for the AutoZone Super Chevy Show event at Gainesville Raceway: Fans will be able to see the WorkMat.net Nitro Coupes, dueling jet dragsters, wheelstander legend Bob Hall, Top Sportsman and the Flowmaster Bracket Racing Series on Saturday, October 22 . Gates will be open at 7am with action planned all day long.
In addition, fans can enjoy the TREMEC Transmission Car Show Series, Performance and Restoration Marketplace, Swap Shop and Car Corral.
"We're taking our normal two day Super Chevy Show and compressing it into an incredible Saturday event," said AutoStar Productions President Roger Gustin. Due to the possible arrival of Hurricane Wilma on the Florida Peninsula early next week, Gustin announced the following schedule changes:
* All qualifying and eliminations for Nitro Coupes and Top Sportsman will take place on Saturday
* All time trials and eliminations in the Flowmaster bracket racing series will be on Saturday
* All judging in the TREMEC Transmissions Car Show Series will be on Saturday

As of 2pm on Thursday, October 20th, 2005 the Auto Zone Super Chevy Show will be held as scheduled Friday, October 21st to Sunday, October 23rd, 2005.
Come out and be a part of all the action and excitement surrounding the AutoZone Super Chevy 25th Anniversary Tour, October 21 -23, 2005
This year's Super Chevy Show features ground-pounding, supercharged nitro coupes racing down the quarter-mile drag strip side-by-side at speeds reaching 230 mph. Also going head-to-head on Saturday and Sunday will be two of the fastest jet-powered Funny Cars, "Hot Blade" and "Rock N' Roll Thunder," (which is driven by Fran Peppler, one of the few women in the world who is licensed to drive jet-powered cars). Wheelstander legend Bob Hall will entertain the crowd with his Airborne Express Astro van, and the Chicago Super Stock Outlaws will show how fast a street-legal car can go. Saturday and Sunday also features Top Sportsman races and the Flowmaster Bracket Racing Series.
In addition to the racing excitement, the Super Chevy show features one of the largest TREMEC Transmission car show series, as well as the Performance and Restoration Marketplace that includes the best in automotive performance and care industries. why would they refund any money when you have not spent any money ?? if you are talking about the 45 $ for the car show well they will let you know what it will cost on Sat when you get there .. but like I said you have not spent any money for them to refund
