We just found and bought a 1985 Type 10 Convertible! Now we have two in the garage! Just wanted to share! It has original paint, interior, window sticker, A/C, tilt, cruise and a 2.8 with a Muncie 4 speed gear box.

Nice addition to the collection.Once you get a chance to snap pics of the inside and engine would be nice to see as well.I have been pretty busy lately wrapping up some home projects and working on my nephews ride bfore he goes to college.Hope to have things wrapped up so I can devote some time to my old cav awaiting work.

Orlen-

You are a funny guy. I need to do one of the following before I could make that happen: 1) buy a hoist, 2) sell my Camaro, or 3) move and get a pole barn. Of the three options, buyng the hoist is actually the most likely to happen... Both my Sunbird and Camaro are keepers.

Here ya go Paul!!

.

...of course, if you can just afford something like this - what would you be considering to storing on it!! Maybe something a little fancier than another 1st gen :-O

Hmmmm.....maybe the solution is worse than the problem...LoL - - - still - - - sure would be handy for those oil changes, wouldn't it!! ( and maybe some of the brake work you've been braving!!)

Guess it all boils down to how does one convince the little lady of the house to get one - and mine is way too smart for me to go there

I think the top would be solid, so not much help for the oil change.

Or you could just a 700 square foot garage like me.Granted I don't think that dual hoist car holder (what ever) would work in my tall shop and I have high ceiling.I have made alot of space in mine being two sets of doors gone(and thanking those for the business) and hung my old kitchen shelfs, hung my seats from the z car buckets and back.Plus just organizing.I know have space to work so no second car to fit.I think the wife would kick me if I bought 1 more ride.At least this wk I am steps closer to finally getting prepared to fix things on my car.Nephews car is done(new hood) and shined and hes off to college next wk.Kinda off track to subject but space is necessary along with $$$$$.I think we alll need more

Orlen-

That is close to the model I was looking at. The one I was checking out had a removable drip pan between the ramps so the lower car would not get dirty from the upper one.
