Is this the matching kit to the front one they sell?
I think this is the "sport" rear kit
Cool deal! Will look into it. Got it on watch right now!
Darren, I attempted to paint my rotors yesterday and the damn paint bubbled up
I even cleaned them with gas as you said.. I used the high temp duplicolor Aluminum paint.. As soon as I seen the bubbles I wiped the paint off before it dried.. Did that happen to yours at first?

I do not know why he said to use gas. Try spraying them with real good with brake cleaner. I always use a paper towel and rubbing alcohol as the finising cleaner. It has always worked well for me.
FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
^^ yeah try rubbing alcohol.
Try piss.....it works on everything!
so u guys are saying we can actually PAINT the rotors?! hmm I would think the paint would rub off the first time u stepped on the brake..............

Your right, they will.. But the pad doesnt cover the WHOLE rotor.. The very top of the rotor, about 1/4 of it doesnt get touched by the pad.. Thats what we're trying to prevent from rusting.
Darren, did you clear your rotors too, or is just the paint holding up fine? I painted mine and they look real good.. Cant wait to put them on.

hmm if you look the paint does, but the key thing is that the paint stays wherer the pads don't touch. That way they don't rust, and clean up easy over time.
Sure you can clear coat those rotors if you like. I didnt for mine.. if you want the paint to be shinny! so clear them then!
Glad you got those rotors done!

Exactly. The firepath will clear out leaving a shiny rotor, the paint will cover the rest as demonstrated by Phewes. Recommendation, use a set of pads you don't care about to clear the firepath on the rotors.
