yep. Torch, air hammer, chisel; it took a lot of patience in order to absolutely destroy the stock bushings while removing them.
but, i "machined" Delrin plastic (roadnoise is a downfall for this material) for the bushings, and used 304 SS for the sleeves and thrust washers; no binding, and a very improved feel/response from the chassis. Well worth the PITA!

Uses factory sleeve? That would be a pretty good way to do it.....just burn the stocker out and pop in a new one...lol

ok, i worded this wrong. the arm itself has the smaller id on the inner (towards center of car) part of it. once someone extracts one of the bushings/sleeves it will be more apparent what i'm trying to say.

ideally i think it would be two bushings (different inner and outer) with a common sleeve thru the center, like the frontmost bushings for the front control arms.

that makes sense

god i wish rsm/z spec as a company was worth a sh!t... they acctually have made some pretty decent parts.

honestly, i dont see how you could better the ones pictured above ^^^ all except a good company backing them (TTR)

When I'm under the rear of the car tomorrow, I'll have a better look at my rear trailing arms.
Oh and thanks Cavalier2000 for a heads up on this.
I'm certainly in on this, will hit the junkyards, and pick up an extra pair of arms for the replacement bushings. Then I just change out arms with the bushings already installed.
