YAY YAY. now rex wont have to break your wrist and walk away.

anyways, congrats on the purchase. when are you planning the install party? BTW, you are going to have to work hard to beat the sunbird, even though bruce may get the smack layed down next time you all head to the track.

Thanks guys!! I'm already getting giddy, though it'll probably be a couple weeks yet before I've got it in my hands.

I have no idea where that is. I don't live in Lockport. That's just where the blower got delivered to. It's still gotta make the second leg of its journey to me.

heh. Here's hopin'! Though I know Brew has some toys in the works as well so I suspect I may actually still get beat but I should at least make my goal of taking him down in the 8th.

Kevin, congrats man. For those who don't know, that cartoon is about 4 YEARS old. That's how long Kevin has been itching for this charger.

If you want a hand putting it in, let me know. My own little slice of heaven gets installed next weekend.

Yeah, I was going to point out how old that pic is. hehe. It's all about following the plan and having things finally come together. Back then, the kit was selling here for $7678.50. I have a post-it note here at my desk with that price on it. That's $8830.27 after taxes here. Completely insane. As the years went on and I got closer and closer to being ready for it with my handling mods getting done, the price really wasn't moving much. Finally, in the past year or so, it finally became affordable and I just picked it up for around $2700 CAD. That's less than a third the original cost.

There's surely going to be a weekend devoted to the install and so far Brew and Ken will surely be there, along with Wojtek the car-nurse. Chris, you're more than welcome to come by as well as is pretty much anyone else. These sorts of things often end up being social events. So long as the work gets done, all is well.
