Simply amazing great work!!!!! Love it love it love it!! Just one question, is 2 stage paint easier and better to work with rather than one stage paint????

very nice now lets some in the sun pics! WOW~!!!!!!
Thanks everyone, it makes me feel good that people appricate my work.
Yeah me and my dad have always worked on cars, and he has helped me alot. If it wasnt for him i would know anything about cars. So all my thanks go to him for sure...
Other than that, i'll answer a few questions you guys had..
The gap between the front of the side skirt was just put like that to paint.. We kept it out so paint would get underneath it.
When we were putting my side skirts on i came up with the idea to fiberglass bolts onto the back on the skirt and drill holes into my quarter and fender to hold them in. It worked great and i recommend doing it. But I atleast spend 20 + hours on each side skirt to make sure they were perfect. So be prepared for some work...
Umm lets see, the base coat before the kandy coats was much more easier than the kandy. The base i used was called orion silver and it covered really well.. On the other hand, the kandy was really challenging. It was hard to make it all even.
I bet your all wondering what wheels im gonna run and what hood.. Considering i didnt paint one
... Well here are some pics.....well sneek peeks
I have the wheels sitting in my garage and man they look nice !..
Let me know what your thinking and if you got any questions, let me know !
Thanks everyone
LoL. That is gonna be some sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet looking ryde. Come pick me up some time with it!! I keep coming back here to get the updates cuz I cannot wait when the rims get slapped on oh man they will go well with the tone of that sweet kandy color. Makes me want to eat some candy! Your dad ROCKS!!
Oh yeah, and i want to get a set of baer big brakes. I think that would top the car off. No one wants to see that car with drums in the back haha..The only thing is that everywhere i found a set, they cost atleast $1,200.00 and thats a little steep at the moment..So if you have any information on where to get a good deal on a set it would be greatly appricated.. Thanks
The color is YUMMY! Its my favorite color! Can't wait to see it done.

Looking great man.
I cant wait till I build my shop and I can start doing more fun stuff like that.
I am all that is man
I will not be able to get outside pics until the weather clears up. Its been snowing. So i want to wait until the suns out. It will be better then anyways because I should have it all back together
And sorry about the big pics. My digitial camera takes huge pictures and it takes me awhile to resize..
I'll post pics again soon
Thanks
You should totally sand the clear off that hood and kandy it a little... kyle (snazzi) did that to his CF hood... and in certain light it looked fully painted and in other light the CF came out... looked really sweet... just a suggestion though... Also what size rims did you go with? I like the way they look!
i'd seen better but looks good...

That was what i thinking about.. I kind of wanted to just mist my hood with kandy. I helped my buddy do it and it turned out good. But he brought some @!#$ty paint over so it didnt look to good. The only thing is that i paid a pretty penny for the hood and i dont even want to take a chance of messing it up.. Even though i know i can do it, there is always a possibilty that something will go wrong..(such as lifting, fish eyes, bugs in clear, etc.) Thanks for the input though
I would defifntly kany the hood....Here is a Pic of a civic hood we kandyied.....the pic doesnt do its justice though....BTW, how could you stand NOT wearing a mask.....the smell of Kandy makes me gag...I love to shoot it, but it makes my head spin....

um, you DO know that the CIvic hood is NOT kandied, right?? That's just plain ole partially painted. Kandy is transparent (thus why Casey had to spray silver as the base coat).
Question I have.... will the taillight swing out too?? Or just the piece below it? I've never sized up the rubber surround at the pump compared to the trim piece below tail... Also, where do you live?? I think you need to spray the kandy blue w/ two-tone black on my car after body work!! lol
