Way too much money for those items.
I had actually thought about those but for the price, thought not.
Unless you got a discount on the above, you spent about 250 bucks which I could use toward other things that would add performance to the car as opposed to looking pretty.

Other than that little gripe and minute form of jealousy, nice stuff Brad.
Like you, I've already got the timing chain, water pump, but still need to get the chain guides.
Nice stuff though.

You provide seating, and for some of us, a place to pass out drunk. No bitching about your trailer

drive it you wusssy. i'll be driving mine there this year.

couple of things, i'd say for the age of your car i'd take the entire car in and have them feather the paint from your bumpers and skirts onto the doors so the paint completly matches up. only way to really get it perfect.

on the dynamat. cover all the openings with dynamat as well as wraping the door lock rods in foam to keep things more quiet and help seal the door up. this will improve the midbass from your componet set.

Btw, I kept that Gmtunerbash sticker on the trailer when I returned it

lmao easy for you to say, bud. your only a freakn state away.

as for blending the paint... ive never liked that idea. personally... i think the paint can be matched. they did a test card and it was off just a little bit, just needed a little bit more black to get the perfect match. besides... the plastic pieces never look exactly the same anyway. and one final reason i dont like 'blending' is because if your going through the trouble of all that you mite as well paint the whole damn car. and thats just something i simply cannot afford for a long time. that and when it does finally get sprayed its going to be merely nothing but a completely gutted shell.

good idea on the foam... ill be sure to do that.

Hmmm...I seem to have missed this thread.

Looks like a lot of great stuff is happening. Alot of that is things I plan on doing this spring. I hope I get to see it. I think I am going out to visit Paully in June, maybe then.

Question, how much did you pay for the door jam cover? Happen to have a part number? I need a new one as well, along with a few other random interior pieces.

door sills were bought off a guy in the classifieds here. they were on ebay forever though... aint been able to locate another set though.

nick-that'd be sweet if you came out!!! and the door sill cannot be bought brand new from gm like mine... i found one a person had bought a long time ago on ebay. the one i have pictured ON the car is the one available through gm.. i bought IT brand new from gm last year. its missing the a pillar tab and thats why i bought it. i tried ordering 3 different part numbers for 3 different years and every time this one missing the tab came in. it was a crap shoot let me tell ya.
