Poor Sunfire on eBay

Wow! Here's yet another example of fine craftsmanship on eBay!

eBay seller (grades02) wrote:There are no longer sunfire taillights. Instead are mustang taillights fabricated into the bumper.

The shifter is on the dash board with the stereo on the floor of the car. As you will see in the pictures I was designing a custom interior. In the CRAPPY BASIC stage.

My two favorite mods (and quotes)!

The front and sides aren't too bad looking, but that rear is absolutely horrible.

Pretty much every car on eBay will get at least one bid. It just means there are two people that thought, "OMG! This is the coolest Sunfire I have ever laid eyes on!"

Current bid is $222.50. I wouldn't pay $22.50 for it! Hell, I wouldn't even want the seller to pay me $222.50 to take it !

It's a girl.

And I wonder why girls have such a bad reputation when it comes to cars .

a dash mounted shifter seems cool. kinda like the newer civic hatches or some mini vans. for an auto it doesnt hurt performance i wouldnt think, with a better design that idea would have been great. as for the tails. mustang tails have been on sunfires before, but fox body lights are just that. BOXY.

My favourite part is where she tells everyone where the emergency popper for the door is. Someone should do her a favour and steal it and torch the car

I like the steering wheel?

Seriously, though, if he had put on some new mustang or even the previous generation mustang tails, it could have been salvageable. the interior is just a mess. Again, the idea was good, but the execution is terrifying. If the shifter sat more like a Matrix or Vibe, it would possibly be okay (though the seats are a bit low for that type of shifter if you ask me. You'd be reaching at a funny angle to change gears unless you had your seat adjusted so that you were sitting too close to the pedals, where you get that feeling of driving for the first time when NO ONE tells you to find a comfortable driving position, because you're in their car, and they don't want you @!#$ around with their driving position. You could lurch on the brakes or the gas too hard for the first mile or so if you're not careful.)

tl;dr - Good effort, but you still fail, Mr eBay seller.

I just can't understand how that can look good to someone! Personally I'd be embarrassed to park beside it let alone drive it. I like the fact that there was an attempt at custom work but wow totally missed the mark!!

this literally made me LOL

"Fortunately, I am pregnant. So fixing the car 7 months into the pregnancy seems a little ridiculous. So I am letting my project go to someone who may be able to fix it or laugh at it. Let me tell you, it’s a piece of work."

Tennessee never fails to shock me.

I feel that with any normal functioning person there is a "WTF am I doing" alarm that goes off at a certain point... Apparently she is missing said alarm...
