great job man! i am deffin. digging it, I love mini trucks.... they totaly inspire me with my car, and I see a lot of simularities with your car as well! ( tubs, ride heigth, rhd- yes its getting popular in the scene) I hope you go more with the mini truck route than jdm! I think your car would look sweet with the handles and locks shaved!, and paint it a wild color like a pastel color! Also what about doing a custom dash? I came up with a great easy way to do my dash, took litteraly about a hour before i started laying resin! if you want details pm me!

Thanks, dude. Although, I can't ever see myself shaving the doors or making a crazy interior. I absolutely love creature comforts of a factory interior and want nothing more than just that.
K, gentlemen, I need honest opinions. I bead-rolled the firewall piece today, ripped out the front suspension quick tonight and welded in said piece. At first, I absolutely loved it, now... I'm really unsure about it.
Honesty.
Regardless, unless I lose sleep over this (which is totally possible), it stays, because it's welded in there pretty solid.
Blast this infernal car.
Once uniform in color it'll be fine, it stands out now due to be sectioned in and noticeable due to such. Throw some primer in between both panels, that'll show ya.
Rock it.
i like it. just a flat piece in there would look too "shaved" to me. especially if you arent gonna flatten out the other side.
i vote it stays.
It's nice to be injected but I love being blown.
Not that my opinion matters much but I do have crazy OCD when it comes to things matching.
To me the left and right dont match at all.
It would have been cool to match the factory lines in length and angle. But regardless I still love the car and the work is amazing. Im sure once there is paint on it itll blend in nicely.
i love it, and will continue to love it either way. But I think it would have looked better all shaved smooth with no beads.
Im with Philly on the OCD thing, I would of had the patterns match.
Keep it up

After stressing long and hard all weekend, I've decided I'm going to leave the firewall as such. Once painted and engine installation are completed it will be fine.
On an unrelated topic, took a drive down to Ohio yesterday and picked up a 4 point roll bar. It was Mike Barr's, unsure of his name on here, but anyways he hooked me up and was willing to drive quite a distance to meet me, it is very much appreciated dude!
I cannot get over how well this thing fits in the car, it's beyond perfect. I will leave it gold until I have the interior panelling cut out to fit, and then I will have it powdercoated the same candy teal that the wheel faces are.
Excited, I am.
glad mike bar finally found a home lol
Jealous on the roll bar. I wouldve loved to have had one.
Nice bar.
Holy stretch out back
I never realized how much you pulled that fender.
I really hope I get the chance to see this car in person.
