Well I kind of let the updating go while I finished the 'vair. ex:
Build thread but I'm happy to update that I've been driving the car for almost a month with a few hiccups along the way, but otherwise i'm loving it!
since i updated last I've done:
Full 4 piece floor replacement
Custom made under seat and rear seat replacement
all 4 'tunnel support' replacement under the floors
POR-15'd the interior floors
rubberized asphalt undercoated the underside
POR-15'd the front trunk area
re-insulated the rear seat area
Patched FR wheel well
custom made rear package area speaker 'box'
New dash stereo din plate
front speakers
recovered dash pad
Welded (for stereo) and paint matched dash
cleaned, painted and calibrated gauge set
New Speedometer Cable
Monza glove plate and new glove box box
Mazda 3 front seats on custom sliders
Brand new Carpet
cleaned painted and re-bushed front sway bar
1970-1981 Z28 wheels painted Satin black with Falken ZIEX 912 205-50-15 fr. 225-50-15 R.
Aftermarket Extractor dual exhaust
Cleaned and painted Gas tank
New gas tank sender
All new gas lines front to back
3x gas filters
Removed Mech fuel pump (top still there for a dummy)
New electric fuel pump w' coil circuit relay
New rear air dam
New 69 Camaro Front air dam
swapped in proper '68 style tail lights
New Grant steering wheel
Aftermarket Camaro turn signal cam

Find time to lower it with proper springs and the adjustable shocks in the garage.
convert to 2 less restrictive air filters instead of the stock set up.

there was a LS powered vair at barrett jackson this year
looks good , ive got a set of those mag/like wheels , if you need more of them
It's a 68 500 with the 110 hp 2.7l H6, 2 spd Powerglide. II've been asked many times if the engine is cammed. Not knowing the history of the motor, It might be since the idle is uncommonly 'lumpy'.

Also, I see you have the Falken 912's on there. I have them on my Mustang, and I love them.
IMO removing the air-cooled engine from a Corvair is a sin.
The 65-69 Corvairs are one my favorite classic cars. Damn Ralph Nader!

A friend of mine's dad is a Corvair collector, he has quite a few fully restored ones. He cleaned out his garage one day of old parts he didn't need and sold them for enough to buy a Porsche Boxster cash lol.

For the time being the 'vair is keeping it's stock powerplant. I've amassed a few parts for the 4 spd swap and I'm actively looking for a 140 motor. The plan was always to have a nice Sunday cruiser and that's what it is right now. I can't wait to lower it though, it's crying for it.

But who mounted your tires? I have worked at garages and a tire shop and taking the stickers off is ALWAYS something we make every single tire tech do.... Customers don't like when stickers get left on, and those stickers do weigh something when balancing
