second time around




couldn't decide on paint so i went mad max



Rode everywhere. One trip was 400 miles round trip to brown county from southbend indiana

blew the motor, had a spare.... it didn't fit. REASON BEING it's not another 650cc it's a 1200cc with a fresh big bore making it 1289cc


didn't like not having two seats to carry hot chicks so i set out to change that

welded in an r1 gas cap and bung


didn't like that box aluminum swingarm so i made my own

cut up the $300 supertrapp header (i'm not a dammmmn purist)



made a windowed clutch cover when i first swapped but it needed the window cut and resprayed


this is where i'm at today



end of april or my mid-may is my projected completion

wish me luck.

WOw I'm not a bike guy and I don't usually comment on the bike threads but that is awesome! So f'ckin cool. I just like how that bike is yours. I would love to ride that around my campus here at Purdue, with all these frat bro's in pretty little 250 cc crotch rockets.

if you want to split hairs here, Putting a "vintage" in front of superbike would settle you down?

it's not a modern 1098 or a EBR 1190 or an r1

but then again i have kept this budget under $1750
