congratulations on your new ride...
probably one of the more problematic cars subaru ever built but they are a cool car none the less.
now if they only offered them in with a manual transmission from the factory
Plans are:
QC Shift kit.
4.44 97 Forester Tranny swap
Tranny cooler.
Lower.
Done.
Looks great! I really do love 'em.
had to replace both rear brake lines on one about a month ago. @!#$ nightmare. working on them sucks big balls, but they drive and look pretty nice. looks like you got a nice clean one, good find!
ive always found the glass roofs to be interesting, but in the end it looks waaay too 80s for my tastes, for obvious reasons. but im sure it had pimp status back in the day, esp with 230 hp in a time of 80hp bangers. good luck and have fun with it
It's pretty nifty with the looks im getting. It's like driving a Ferrari in my town..everyone stops by to ask what it is.

If you ever do polish the headlight assembly use some 1000 or 2000 3m sandpaper with some soapy water and buff with meguiars fine cut cleaner #2 or just the plastic lens polish. The meguiars is something I used in addition to the meguiars plastic cleaner.I saw one of these couple days bk and looked to be pretty nice with some aftermarket whls.Still unique it is.
