dude, wtf.. why did you post that?

does it make you better that you didn't look at it? if people are interested enough they'll find it themselves.. you're really lucky i'm not a moderator here or else I would have perma- banned your ass for it.

hey, here's an idea. why don't you message that profile with all your funny jokes?
or what if I did it and attached your email?
why not comment that profile with them? i'm sure that would be HILARIOUS!

that way the person's family can get a laugh out of it too!

dickhead.

Ok guys enough is enough. Lets all clam down and pick our heads up. We are all fine. Lets just head out and enjoy ourselves. We never know when our lives are going to be "headed off at the pass". Just take a head of lettuce out of the fridge, sit down at the head of the table, and and enjoy a nice salad. Whining and crying about other people is not going to put you ahead of them at the pearly gate. Even though some of us are surely heading to hell.

i think you're missing the point. Is it @!#$ up what happened, yes. Do I think it should have happened, no. Are their some really @!#$ crazy people in this world, yes.

But this is a one of a kind happening. This is so outrageous it almost doesn't seem real/possible.

Maybe I shouldnt have made jokes IYO. Some find it funny, some don't. Are we laughing particularly about the incident and about the victim, no but at the surrealness of it.

IDK, be butthurt if you want, doesn't change anything.

I know if I knew the victim, and that happened to someone close to me I would be repulsed seeing people making jokes. It was a horrid incident.

However, the jokes are kinda funny when you dont entirely tie it to the actual situation and the victim himself.

I do still think its disrespectful though.

I dont think any of us would find it funny if a tragic accident happened to anyone we cared about, our parents, our kids, our cousins, etc....

i agree. If it were someone i knew or were related to, it certainly wouldnt be funny to me. But to others im sure would pull the same jokes which is fine. Hell, if it happened to me, I'd EXPECT people around the world to make jokes. It's not like we're pointing the finger and laughing, but more looking at the situation as a whole and pulling some corny humor out of it.

anyone reading into it further than that has either too much time on their hands, or should just stop surfing the web and watching tv. Life is life, people enjoy stupid humor(some of us at least). and it/s nothing more than that, stupid humor

Quote:

RCMP were preparing yesterday to interview the suspect in a terrifying murder in which the victim was repeatedly stabbed in front of dozens of passengers, including children, and then beheaded aboard a Greyhound bus in southern Manitoba Wednesday.

Staff Sgt. Steve Colwell, a spokesman for Manitoba RCMP, said the motive is not known. Police hoped to learn more once they spoke to the suspect about what was possibly the most gruesome and shocking murder in the province's history. Police have not identified the suspect or victim.

Colwell would not discuss claims the suspect ate some of the victim's flesh.

Fellow passengers said the attack appeared to be unprovoked. It happened about 8:30 p.m. while the eastbound bus, carrying 37 passengers and the driver, was about 20 km west of Portage la Prairie on the Trans-Canada Highway.

The incident has drawn worldwide media attention, from 24-hour cable news networks in the U.S. and radio stations in the Netherlands to newspapers in Australia and websites based in Asia.

Colwell said officers arrested a 40-year-old man, believed to be from outside Manitoba, without incident when he broke a window on the bus and attempted to jump out following a three-hour standoff.

Colwell praised the driver and passengers who quickly ran off and the few who prevented the attacker from exiting, saying their actions may have saved lives.

"What you saw and what you experienced would shake the most seasoned police officer, yet I'm told each of you reacted swiftly, calmly and with bravery," Colwell said.

Passengers said the suspect was quiet and calm when he stood up and used a large knife to stab the younger male victim, who was wearing headphones and possibly asleep, seated next to him at the back.

"We heard this blood-curdling scream and turned around, and the guy was ... stabbing this guy repeatedly, like 40 or 50 times," said passenger Garnet Caton. "There was no rage or anything. He was like a robot."

The driver immediately pulled over and everyone but the suspect and victim scrambled to escape.

Greyhound spokesman Eric Wesley said the bus had departed Edmonton at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday and was supposed to arrive in Winnipeg at 9:45 p.m.

Caton and passenger Cody Olmstead said the attacker boarded in Brandon and the victim, who appeared to be about 19, got on in Edmonton.

Caton said the attacker, wearing sunglasses, started methodically carving up the victim's body after the bus stopped, not paying attention to anyone else.

Caton said he, the unidentified bus driver and a semi driver who had stopped went back on the bus to find out what was going on.

"He had the guy on the ground, he was cutting his head off and pretty much gutting him," Caton said.

The man approached the trio, who retreated and shut the door. Before it closed the suspect allegedly took a swipe at them with the knife.

ARMED THEMSELVES

They put their bodies against the door to stop the man from exiting and then armed themselves with a crowbar and hammer belonging to the trucker, Caton said. Other passengers gathered nearby.

"He calmly walked up to the front (of the bus) with (the victim's) head in his hand and the knife and then dropped the head in front of us," Caton said.

By that time, one of the drivers had disabled the bus so the man could not drive away, passengers said.

RCMP from Portage arrived moments later. An emergency response team and negotiators were called in but the man refused to exit.

There were reports the suspect allegedly taunted police by waving the victim's head out the window. The man was arrested around 1:30 a.m.

Charges had not yet been laid by the time Colwell addressed reporters yesterday afternoon. The suspect is in custody.

The driver and passengers were taken back to Brandon on a different bus and put up in a hotel late Wednesday. Some boarded a bus to Winnipeg yesterday. Others went elsewhere.

The Winnipeg-bound bus arrived by mid-afternoon and was diverted from the Greyhound bus depot downtown to a Grey Goose depot on Burnell Street, in an apparent effort to evade the media.

Several passengers declined comment as they were picked up by family members or were quickly ushered into taxis.

Inside the Grey Goose depot, at least one small girl could be seen with family members.

Around 5 p.m. the bus left the Burnell depot and drove to the downtown depot, dropping off three passengers. The passengers -- two of whom were wearing badges identifying them as members of the Brandon Regional Health Authority -- all declined comment.

yup, @!#$ HILARIOUS. I don't know where my sense of humor is!

Ouch...

Okay, it's called dark humour, gallows humour... take your pick. It's in poor taste, and so is a whole lot of Television and radio. If you don't like it, there's a "Contact Us" button on the left hand control pane, and you can cry about it there.
