What about aftermarket engine/transmission mounts?

If you've ever watched your engine move around in the engine bay when you blip the throttle, you know it's pretty loose in there. For 1995-2002 models there are aftermarket engine mounts available. The upper mount is actually a poly insert, which fills in the spaces in the stock upper mount, and helps to stiffen up the top of the engine. The lower engine mount replaces the stock mount. Both are supposed to transfer torque to the wheels more efficiently than the stock mounts by reducing the degree of which the engine moves. They will also transfer more engine noise from the chassis into the cab of the vehicle, although different bushings are available for the lower mount from Mark Pain (check the Member's Registry).
