Well, fellaz, i have about 8 or so days left here in Iraq, let me start off by saying that the National Guard should change the name to INTERnational Guard. It's been a VERY long year, and i'm so phsyched to return home to Alabama.
I've spent a little too much money than i should have on my car during this deployment. None the less i will have a blast putting all the parts on the car. Since i've been gone i've boosted it, dropped it, kitted it, and put some new shoes on my ride....i'm so happy that it is now time to return home.
Once i finally get home, i will post ever so often on the progress my car has taken. I want to thank you all for all the technical info you've helped me out with in pursuing to deliver me the car i've always wanted my lil' Cav to be. I'm now in the progress of one last finishing touch to my interior, not to be secret squirrel or nothing, but i want it to sort of be a surprise as the project has not even begun yet. I've dug in my pockets deeply in giving back to the JBO community for these little businesses our peers have developed over these past few years such as Broughtdowncustoms, Gravana, Turbotechracing, Streetline, HPTuners and this was kind of a good idea to me as it's the minds of other JBO owners who've come up with these ideas for custom parts for our rides, and i just wanted to kind of piece a car together that had a little bit of all these businesses to be a part of it.
So, look out next month, for i'll start putting up pictures in the Photo's Forum... I personally want to thank all of you for being a great Organization. We all have run into problems whether it be with our cars or with other JBO members (Jay Cisneros) but we all pull together and try to help eachother out with whatever we can. I think of this site almost like a family. Thank all of you for your advice, opinions and support that has helped me along the way.

Yea, i've been watching the boards almost everyday of this deployment, but since i'm not at home tinkering on the car, i can't really post up anything other than questions relating different items and such.

hey man good luck on your flight home...im deployed right now also...actually on your way home you most likely will be passing threw my base and im gnna be the guy making sure your plane makes it in and outta here safly...i have another 2 months here and did the same as you....bought alot for the car and payed it off....man i cant wait to put all the goodies on!

Thanks Joey, i hope putting the parts on my car is as stress relieving as it always have been. I too hope my gauge pod doesn't turn out to be like the one i saw posted...yuck! If so, i'll have to go by an A-pillar 2 Gauge Pod. I think i'd prefer one of those anyways. We'll see though. GOD I CAN'T WAIT TO GET HOME!!!
When i get home i'll post on here about the different things i'm doing. I'm also trying to get my car painted as well, but we'll see how that goes for funds are running kind of low for a big purchase like that!
