I have a 97 cavalier with a 99 2.4L and i have some noises i was wondering if anyone else has had?

The first noise i have is an tick at idle and a rough idle but when i rev up the car in the shop it smothens out.
On the road when i get on the car there is a apparent tick only above 3,000 rpm. almost like the timing chain is rattling
But i just changed the oil and its still there. could this be a collapsed lifter or maby the timing chains?

The second noise i have is like a constant grone when speeds exceed 35 mph and louder the faster you go up tell 60
where the noise stays constant volume, when i put it in neutral it still is there, when i turn from side to side it stays the same.
I rotated my tires and its not that. just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if it could possibly be the differential bearings.
