Start the car & pull the fuel pump relay under the hood to make the car stall...

On my 02 the fuel injectors get wont fire if you pull the fuel pump relay. If I ever did relieve the pressure before opening the system I would just unplug the fuel pump and start the car. But im strange and dont mind the fuel at all.

If you've got an ECO there is a schrader valve on the feed. Otherwise pull the fuse and run her till she starts to stutter.

Just an FYI, there is no need to relieve fuel pressure. I have changed over 50 fuel filters, not once relieved pressure. Really it isnt that bad when you undo the clip, sure it squirts a little, just watch your eyes.
