I need some help... just died sitting at a light and wouldnt refire... car turns over but will not start... both fuel pumps are working fine and fuel is being sprayed into the engine... just wont turn over 90k on the motor... tried swapping ecm's but didn't fix the problem... any ideas?

What's your battery life?
Dead ignition system, timing chain off a few teeth, broken timing chain, among other possibilities.
Sounds like you broke the timing belt. (sheared off about 6 teeth all on bottom of main pulley). Try removing the valve cover and turn it over and see if the cam is moving. I'd start there.

j body cars have timing chains. not belts.

it was getting spark... and fuel... and i am pretty sure the chain didnt break lol...
i was gonna run a compression test... buuuuut i took the radiator cap off and could smell the fuel... no point obviously the coolant system is being pressurized in through the water jackets... so it wont have compression... thx though

Good luck j body cars have timing chains. not belts.
I have a J body 94 pontiac Sunbird and it has a belt sir.
