Disconnect lines, drop tank, remove snap ring, pull old unit out, fix pump, reverse order, new fuel filter, profit.

Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.

Did this.
Took a bit of priming but the car started and ran great. Now, when i turn the key to ON not START, it sounds terrible. Its not the smooth prep it used to be. Its choppy and sounds airy. What could this be?

The car still starts, but take quit a bit of turning over. Sometimes it doesnt..

Bleh..

Do you have gas? And are the lines tight?

When we did mine my dad didnt get the quick disconnects all the way together.

Oh ebay, how i hate thee.

I would get a fuel pressure tester - and see what the pump is actually putting out and also this will also allow you to "better" bleed the fuel lines (turn key on, let pump run, turn key off, release pressure(tester has a button on the side) repeat)

I would avoid eBay for things that are as important as a fuel pump, as for 1. you don't REALLY know what you're getting, 2. if there is a problem you can just take it back to a store 3. Most storefronts have crazy warranties on pumps, I have a lifetime on mine from Car Quest.

Otherwise, Good Luck!
