Well i was doing my oil today and after i finshed everything i checked the oil level and as i was wiping off the dip stick, it came apart from the cap. i pushed it back in and it kinda clicked back in place. i put it back in and pulled it back out to check the level but now it doesnt stay attached to the cap and i have to get a small pair of plyers so i can grab the top of the plastic to pull it out. is there a certain way it get it to snap back in place?
it doesnt go anywhere. its just when i take the cap off now, its just the cap that comes out and that little plastic piece that slides into the cap and holds the actually dipstick, just sits right there at the top. its not going anywhere, its just a little annoying because it doesnt come out w/ the cap and i need plyers to pull it out.
